context being i'd expect that Farkran would be more curious about the general town meta regarding fake guilties/town gambits in general that would make me react the way i did, but it seems he's formed this conclusion while acknowledging his lack of experience. if he is scum i imagine he took my skepticism as an opportunity to poke around in spite of how he was treating my slot before.
though i still feel like his play seems largely like uninformed town."Sibling," Farkran asked, starting slowly.

MC can and has been high effort on D1 in Larges. (See, TM.)In post 4068, Thestatusquo wrote:To some degree. In general I think its overused. I think self-meta is mostly garbage. But I think that a meta attack can be refuted with a meta defense, which is what I'm doing here. If the claim is that MC is generally more productive than he has been here and I don't think thats true it seems completely reasonable to say "hey, that attack isn't true, do some research." There's plenty of MC large themes to look at, Among Us being the most recent one.
I think his activity is NAI, but it's definitely not towny. The thing with MC is that you have to prod him for content as either alignment, but his content when it comes has been lacking this game."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod

I'm still strongly against meta-diving, but my opinion on the matter has formed because very few players reacted that way - let's call it "the tmi way" for lack of better terminology. I am still skeptical that it would be the standard town reaction, regardless of how many times it happened in the past - even moreso if you sell it as if everyone should react like that when in fact only two players doubted the claim at first (afaicr, correct me if i am wrong). In post 4076, Chara wrote:context being i'd expect that Farkran would be more curious about the general town meta regarding fake guilties/town gambits in general that would make me react the way i did, but it seems he's formed this conclusion while acknowledging his lack of experience. if he is scum i imagine he took my skepticism as an opportunity to poke around in spite of how he was treating my slot before.

i don't think everyone should react like that, my point about meta isn't that "all town would and should be skeptical", it's "it makes sense for me to have been skeptical".
i don't remember who else doubted the claim. i don't think it's strange to buy it by virtue of it being a bad thing to fake. i'm saying i noticed something was pretty wrong with it and no one else besides Guillotina seemed to care. morph didn't care because they recognized the gambit.
i also wasn't there for the claim in real time, i came in later and read all of it. and a lot of the players who did buy it immediately were ones who were scumreading Titus (you, shea, i dont remember who else at the moment), and i don't think you're taking that into account, either."Sibling," Farkran asked, starting slowly.

We doubted the claim.
For context, Mara and Cabd hydra'd (for the first time, I think) in one of the games I played in 2013. In that game they:
- faked an inno on my hydra
- faked a neighborhood with a dead player (the dead player had dead-neighborized me on the previous game day, so it wasn't a completely out of the blue fake)
- in 3P ELO, fake-outed as a 3rd party survivor and invited the final scumplayer to also out and win together. Then hammered them- Chara

i don't think you had to have played with Mara before to doubt the claim."Sibling," Farkran asked, starting slowly.

I'd love a Titus yeet but i can sheep my townreads too.1) The only difference between town and scum is TMI.
2) If scum can do it, so can town, except TMI.
3) The best way to tell the truth in a game of lies is by lying and the best way to lie in a games of lies is by telling the truth.- Bell

I'm aware that Murderkitty doesn't do much early game, this isn't about that for me.
I just straight up don't understand him or his approach this game even though he's spelling it out.
His reads seem more like an unnatural exercise than a good idea.
Yes, I don't know why he's sticking to it and I think there are a lot of parallels to Flavorleaf vs Pooky that I'm unfairly mentally drawing except murderkitty is me and I'm murderkitty but more handsome.- Bell

Murdercat could be scum but NDMath is just obvscum and will avoid this threadShowThe scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

I thought 3076 was decent. I don't agree with everything in it, but he does a good job explaining his thought process and performing proper critical analysis. I can imagine several ways scum would write an equivalent post. Ultimately, NDMath just feels like it would be a lurker fade, and tbh, that's not going to be better than rand in my books.Links: User Page | Player Ratings | GTKAS | Test

I'm not sure what i want at the moment, but what i do know is that im not going give you a pass based off a weak reach out.
And that half baked reach out doesnr make a whole lot of sense when you take this into considerationIn post 3950, Dunnstral wrote:Middle of the pack reads where I'm not taking a hard town or scum stance:

How did you get here from wagon analysisIn post 4001, MURDERCAT wrote: Arte – This interaction with the wagon just looks super town to me. Pushing people in that direction, but in a sort of collaborative way that reads townie to me. Maybe because I do that too as town.

LLD – Still don’t like LLD, think it was a D1 bus. The quotes that I posted in 3993 just feel off to me. I know LLD is a forceful player but it’s too confident. Like what is 2752 even saying? What in the Anya quotes makes LLD “very certain”? And the reasoning in 2709 just feels so fake to me. “There is something genuine lacking there” isn’t a real thought imo.
.
I'm confused, I don't see either of these points
I feel the sameIn post 4026, Bell wrote:What I don’t get is why scum kitty would pick a fight here. Lld is fresh off a kill and I’m both defensive and easily sortable.
Other than that thoufh, im not impressed and it makea me question my earlier townreads on MC
