Prism wasn't the most townie by the end of it all, but that's because everybody else drowned her out. Posts like (140, 278, 289, 354) give amazing reads on the gamestate. That doesn't benefit scum at all, since this game is always changing, if she was scum, how would she be confident her scum teammates and their dance partners would make it long enough to endgame..? Norwegianboyee literally said in 1139 "So i won’t accept anything until i know what i’m doing." but people such as Datisi, Firebringer, Guiltylion and probably more have brought this up as a point against him. But literally before Taly even proposed Norwee laid out what he was gonna do???? Thats such an easy and bs thing to push for an elim, that it cant help but make me think people are capitalizing on it. The theme remains: if want to die in a game, I don't, if I do, it's on N1 and in a game I tried to be scummy to avoid the NK.

Alignments aside, I think a contributing reason is that I'm functionally more reactive, opportunistic, reckless, and emotional as the game progresses and i find I've either misread someone deeply or pivoted from s good read. I don't work optimally with a lot of background noise.

If I'm not going to leave in the next 24 hr, I'd like town to keep this in mind .

Like the one point I'll make in my self defense is that I take a ton of pride in my scumgame by hiding my partners effectively. It is like the main thing I focus on and I won my last scumgame (which was white flag) entirely because I distanced so effectively from the scum we bussed and no one could nail me as a possible partner to the other scum in LIMLO. Datisi was in that game, he can attest. The idea that I would so half-assedly defend a partner all day yesterday and make it look like I'm super obviously trying to redirect attention elsewhere is just not how I play scum

for the record, that game was the reason why i back in predance (which feels like ages ago already) thought that gl and andante might be scum distancing from one another. because in the aforementioned game, gl started arguing with that partner early, and the whole argument was ??? to me, like it felt like it was born out of literally nothing. and i got the same feeling from his early arguing with andante here

i don't think scum necessarily *benefits* from a triple bus, but. marci was widely suspected from the start of the game, and she paired with norwee who was also getting heat. that pair probably isn't endgaming. ydra is paired with the ic, that pair probably isn't endgaming. and i don't remember at which point andante suspicions really started, but most of the people were expecting fire to leave at some point as well, so again, that pair isn't endgaming either. so what is the 4th scum to do other than get a head start on the bussing and milk the towncred as much as they can?

based on where marci and andante suspicions started, or where it was clear that those two won't be endgame material (like when fire talked about leaving etc) i think it's even more clearing for ydra because why would she, when she sees two of her partners being clear non-endgame material, decide to not only pair with the ic (which basically guarantees she never engame either) BUT THEN ALSO do nothing to prevent or offset their deaths and even help them bus? it feels like straight up gamethrowing

Taly, I’m not psychic and therefore can’t predict how any specific game will emotionally affect me but it’s 100% things happening in this game. Even Fire trying to get in yet another shot attacking me for our misunderstanding caused me to meltdown again but I’m really glad that got cleared up. Not being able to adress any of that because the thread got locked made it so much worse. It’s not like I cry in every game I’m in. When my best friend died, this was probably good advice but it doesn’t apply to game specific things that I didn’t feel I was able to adequately defend myself against. I may or may not expand upon this post game but I really did not feel I deserved any of it from Fire.
