Overall I think Toog has shown a contrast to his town meta in this game - whether or not that is because of factors in this game, namely starts with F ends with leaf, is yet to be decided because there is a lack of town indicative content from the slot and thus that places them low in objective towniness ergo an optimal wagon to force pressure.

Wagoning is not about "forcing claims" and neither should there be fear that a townie will claim. Solving a slot is more valuable than scum learning the identity of a potential PR.

To add on to this - I would like to point out that Toog has shown not much intent to really solve - I have said earlier that I believe Toog's posting is performative in tone, crafted in a way to mimic what he thinks is townie/look like he is pro town.

I'm still 100% in support of day 1 eliming the Beloved Princess. Lowest risk for what could possibly also be scum, PRs are still hidden, scum would be firing blindly, possibly getting a few cross kills.

Is the Malefactor essentially just a 5th scum member for both teams with no ability to communicate with them? Or are they more akin to a Serial Killer? I didn't see anything on the wiki about a Malefactor, but their win con suggests they are aligned with either/both scum factions but don't get a kill of their own. I'd assume in this setup, they are bulletproof. Do they win even if dead as long as town loses?

I need to see what happened last night but I am not a fan of the Toog wagon. The catch is this day has gone on long enough. Some slots are refusing to vote any major wagon so a lim requires near unamity among active slots.

I also really want to force Butterchurn to commit with a Catboi stance and just haven't been able to get pressure going past a stalled 5-6 vote wagon on Catboi all game.

I don't really see why I should be forced to take a stance here (well, I understand why you would want me to, since if I'm scum it makes me take a stance, but I'm not, so I'm not going to make one up). Players like catboi are not people that I expect to be able to have a confident Day 1 read on.
