I believe that's unfair to Empking because I believe he had a lot of computer problems which led to him being inactive. He doesn't really have an abandon mod track record IMHO.

After I became scum, obviously! I felt so transparent. And then SSK made fun of me. I was so proud of my alternahistory of N2, and you totally ignored it! I thought we were friends, etc.

Probably because I claimed Angel and scumlordSX said he could recruit them, and then a night passed. With SX's flip.

There are very few acceptable excuses for abandonment of a game you are modding. Computer problems is not one of them. Access internet at a library and try and arrange for a back-up mod to step in. At the very least PM the list mod and ask for help.
