exhaust is way more of a bullshit spell than flash. I know Im probabl alone in thinking this but god damn does it feel fucking awful to be a bruiser/melee dps character and get exhausted - a team with two or more exhausts just makes me want to throw my laptop across the room.

They say it's going to encourage more aggressive play... it sounds to me that it only encourages the roamers to be more aggressive, and for laning to be more passive.


flash nerf will either make it useless or not really change much

cv nerf same as flash

promote change isn't going to change that much; there will still be better summoners on SR

surge might be interesting

heal will still be useless

cleanse will be OP and will be nerfed back into its current state soon after the changes

this
will
encourage more aggressive play because A) if the CV nerf is hard enough, you'll likely see supports running surge or something (i'd def run surge on sona, for instance, if it's any good) and B) they're nerfing the best escape in the game

dota and HoN are completely different from LoL, but if you want to be an unmitigated cunt about it feel free to explain how it's going to make for less aggressive play

Shanba, your calculations for the ashe thing are kinda inaccurate due to volley and the first crit, even though you mentioned that, but I see your point.

@JD:
People will only be aggressive when Flash is up so they have an escape, longer CD doesn't change the fact that Flash let you get away from most anything.

So unless they nerf Flashs range so much that it is no longer an auto-get out of jail free card from most things (aka turn it into a pretty useless spell) it's still just as powerful but now you're forced to play defensively for longer periods of time before flash is off CD.

They really needed to change non-numerical things about the spell to fix it.

Lower the CD on Flash by 30-40% and make it so you can't Flash for 2 seconds after taking damage.

Agreed. I hate getting exhausted, and the only thing I hate more is getting CHAIN exhausted. Ugh.

Holy FUCK do these summoner changes suck.

Flash has already been nerfed into the ground, and it's fine where it is right now. I seriously cannot believe the amount of hate that Flash still gets. I do get pissed off when Flash gets used to escape, but that's Flash used INTELLIGENTLY. That does not mean it should be nerfed. Exhaust is so much stronger the entire game anyway, achieving the same effect on a single target and making them do shit all for damage on the side.
Cleanse is another of those auto-win buttons that they were trying to remove. Enemy team brings exhaust to stop Tryndamere from blitzkrieg their entire team? Bring Cleanse so that they have no answer to your retarded damage output.
Surge doesn't sound any more useful than Rally.
Heal still sounds like shit.

Surge sounds like fun, on certain combos. Like Olaf with his Ragnarock. No CC ult, Reduced Damage, increased Powar. Or Irelia with her ~60% reduction

Cleanse will turn Trynd into a beast again though.

You know what I think. They just want Jungle Jarvin to be popular again like it was in season 1. They just don't want to be obvious about it.

Don't really like the changes. Why would they buff cleanse when you can get a QSS? Implement the changes there. That way carries are stuck between taking op get out card or op spell shield.

I personally don't like using Flash. I only take it because I know other people will have it and not having it will put me at a disadvantage.

The fact that a successful gank can count to the enemy lane using one or both (is applicable) of their Flashes is kinda of dumb imo.
I'm going to be the biggest hypocrite and say that people who overextend when they have no map awareness shouldn't be able to escape so easily from a gank just because they ran flash ghost.

I DO hate exhaust though. Baller Ashe that's ripping our team apart? HAHA NOPE.
