I've added something to the OP. I really hope the NRG doesn't mind me making this public.

If you guys could arrange something, that'd be nice. I got a PM from MattP yesterday wondering what's taking so long.- Mr. Flay

MattP is currently next in the review queue. It's still not separated from the minis, but reviewers who want to do larges now have a way of knowing which is which.- MattP

New rule, written specifically to grandfather in the mods already in the queue:

Small, but very vital, question.
Is there any way to get an exception to this?↑ StrangerCoug wrote:Additionally, if you signed up to mod on or after January 4, 2013 and this is your first time running a large game, you are limited to a maximum of 21 players.
Since June of 2012, I've been designing a Large Normal to run with 24 players. (It's been in my signature for quite a while. I've been posting about running it quite a number of times, I've made references to my desire to iron out the final details and actually run it for the last 3 or so months.) It's been reviewed (by DarthYoshi and AGar), fixed for balance by the reviewers to their knowledge, it's even been pretty much finalized (role PMs written, ruleset written, etc.), with that number in mind. However, I have not run a large game before, and was not anticipating this roadblock.
Quite frankly, cutting it down to 21 players isn't impossible, butthatwould be a pain to balance.
It was designed quite carefully for 24, and upsetting that balance by reducing the numbers would make it more swingy. My academy.

I'm more likely to waive it if you and your backup both have a solid modding experience with little to no problem.- mastin2

Define "problem".↑ StrangerCoug wrote:I'm more likely to waive it if you and your backup both have a solid modding experience with little to no problem.
My last modded game was during The Crash; the first 3/4ths of the game were lost to it. Though there is a partial record of the game from before it (a partial record I had many technical issues actually getting to work), the game was mostly Lost Forever, and as such, players coming inafterThe Crash (and a few who weren't closely following along before the crash) had issues. There's pretty much no way to have no problems as a moderator in that situation. My academy.

You mean the Great Rollback? The Crash was before your time.
And I can't imagine any List Mod holding the rollback against you.Retired as of October 2014.- AngryPidgeon

By "problem", problems with the site are exempt. I'm more concerned about things within your control when it comes to things like this.- AngryPidgeon

If you and mastin2 have a good record of modding, then I'm waiving the limit, since it's been in the planning stages for awhile, but I want something to look at. I don't want to discourage either of you.- Maestro

OP says that Matt and Maestro's games are in review right now. I was curious to know if those were going alright.
I admit I'm partially eager/anxious to get my own LN running, but considering how long those two may have been sitting there I do hope their games can begin soon.2011 scummies winner (BTS help) and participant;
coming back to Mafia...slowly. Keep an eye for me as a mod.
Also keep an eye for setup review requests.- MattP
