I'm going to be mostly V/LA over the next four days--so if there is something you want from me before gaming devours me from dawn to midnight, say so now.
Quick thing out of the way:
In post 2, Andrius wrote:All Role PMs are out! Please confirm via PM. >_>
Game will start when we get 14/17 confirmations.
Addendum: There seem to be issues with quicktopic at the moment. Going to wait it out a bit and if it doesn't clear up I'll look into hosting QTs elsewhere.
QT appears to be working again.
I don't think scum have Daytalk, otherwise this wouldn't really have been an issue--why worry about it pregame when QTs are fairly sure to be working in a few hours for a Daytalking team?
Feels kind of dirty to use that, but Andy put that information in the thread, soooo.
Metal Sonic is still Town for the panache in his behavior. However, MS, please
tone the hell down
. This game is a pain in the ass to read and it's
your
fault. Stop insulting people, you are clearly not using that as a method for reading them.
I can believe he's actually a one-shot dayvig (guess who is not Edmure "Failtrout" Tully
). But I can't really understand how he was confused by the possibility of a thread-vig reclaiming his shot after shooting.
Aaaand the star of the show that makes me really happy because I didn't have to read a lot:
UNVOTE: Venmar
VOTE: Desperado
Let me walk you through Tamuz's
RVS behavior
actually his entire ISO aside from the proxy dodge:
In post 6, Tamuz wrote: proxy vote to Tierce
Who is the best father-in-law in westeros?
Here, let's let someone else "do" something funny with this vote so I don't have to put it anywhere.
In post 14, Tamuz wrote:Does anyone know if Andrius is a bastard enough mod to give someone a 'Hodor' post restriction.
No attempt at content and a really bland push at this game's "bastardness". The game was listed as non-bastard and anyone who cares about such things
will look them up
. Also, it's an empty question--wouldn't someone with such a restriction (fake or real) become obvious in two pages?
In post 232, Tamuz wrote:ankamius pushing a flavour. I really don't like that, but I'm unsure what to label it
Do you know
why
Tamuz didn't like Ankamius joking around with flavor, especially the flavor of someone who is
dead by Book 3
? I don't, but this was the only person he had such trouble with, and instead of reasoning it out, he goes the easy route of softclaiming flavor = scum, which is ridiculous in a theme game from a beloved source.
In post 14, Tamuz wrote:Good point somewhere in there, I don't recall from who. We REALLY should try lynching Andrius.
Vote Andrius
More bastard talk, still no care about checking it again. Tamuz is not Mac or Nobody Special, but I can't help being reminded of Mac's contentless "this game screams bastard" in KK's Xylbot II and NS's insistence that Vi's Mafia in Triplicate was a bastard game during the game. Both of them were scum--and it's
not
that the games were bastard, it's the empty remark and focus on that at a point in the game where that concern makes no sense from someone who only knows their own role, convoluted as it might be.
In post 14, Tamuz wrote:If I weren't voting Andrius I'd be voting Metal Sonic or Ankamius
KillerApple wrote:I usually come across as scum when I'm town. I play on another site and my scum survival rate is 100%, but my town survival rate is probably like 5%.
KA wrote:I can't for the love of god remember why I said frustrated. Go ahead and lynch me for it.
Lol I have no control. The points raised against me are pretty stupid considering I would never be so careless as scum. But I might as well shut my mouth because this post will also be used against me in some way.
Terrible Posts. but Anti-town != Pro-scum
Metal Sonic wrote:Who's that nut job that accuses the guy with 2 posts to be scum?
Holy crap your posts are awful and defensive against all but completely nothing.
Grouping these together. Notice what he's doing? Both of them are awful, both of them are super self-conscious, both of them are pretty clearly rather inexperienced players. But Metal Sonic gets labeled as scum while KillerApple gets into the meh, junk mushy KillerRedDelicious section.
In post 14, Tamuz wrote:Tierce wrote:It's actually the word I use to explain how to pronounce it, so don't worry.
Its not tiɛɹʧə ?
I'm disappointed
Actual content~
Not really.
In post 14, Tamuz wrote:tsunami wrote:Tammuz bothers me on a twitch level.
One m, I'm not a Jewish Month I'm an homage to the Spanish inquisition.
Not actual content, because he's a meaniehead and is not a Sumerian god.
In post 14, Tamuz wrote:nachomamma8 wrote:all three have lurking tendencies, so I think they're doing their lurking tendency thing.
Nah uh I don't.
nacho* I hate spelling your name because its mamma not momma* 8 wrote:and yeah, scum do it, but it's a bit early to grab the pitchforks for lurkers
Its always too early true lurking is not scummy.
This is also not content.
Oversoul fake dayvigged me in Maf.Maiden. He was
a freaking idiot
Town. End of story and end of "you will have to link me this or I will
call Metal Sonic scum
", Desperado. That threat reeked of pork sausage.
Nacho--kindly explain why you were giving a pass for Venmar for being lazy when I imagine you've seen him bring out posts like that Nexus case before (and he did say he used to wall). Seems quite a bit of disparity in attitudes, and I wouldn't call it being
lazy
. Having trouble finding traction on the game, maybe, I've been there. He found it, and he's scumhunting, so I'm okay with him. But it didn't read as laziness then, and it doesn't read as having-been-laziness now. Why did you think Venmar was being lazy?
macmollie: KillerApple was an idiot, couldn't handle the pressure of being told everything he's doing is wrong. That was not scum buckling under pressure, that was a newbie failing at their everythings. He can't know what is MS's alignment in ongoing games, so he was trying to make a general analysis and blustered against the site rules. If anything, we see a player who was not lazy, but was desperately trying to get a read on Metal Sonic, and if he doesn't have absolute data from flips, looks for relative data from general attitude elsewhere. He was trying. Godspeed to the Red Delicious, now come join me in actual scum.
I haven't actually gone through anything of Cabd's yet. >.> <.<
