Is he though? We've already seen one instance where someone's prowess for the game almost out shadowed their ability to be read objectively. Spyrex seems to ring bells for some reason. If you have 2 equally scummy people why fight for the lesser of 2 evils. This is like trying to decide between taking out Hitler or one of his guards.

If you have two equally scummy people, why fight? I don't see where AB is Hitler. That's very strong, passionate and irrelevant. However, to continue your analogy, taking out the guard can make it much easier to take out the master. Much like in chess. You can either burn through half of your pieces to take a queen or you can take the bishop relatively risk free and make it harder to protect the queen. I'd take the bishop and leave the enemy in a much worse position. Some are favoring taking the queen.

There was the Quadz lynch d4, the 1v1 yesterday, lynch AB today and still he survives...and then what happens tomorrow, Scum Doe is suddenly obv scum all today's AB, so he gets pushed back again. I have wanted TA lynched along with others. I got fed up with the coasting. Things naturally change over time. I am not worried about scum saving a mislynch for later or such nonsense. Given our track record recently (barring the duel/PnJ fiasco), we were doing pretty well. If scum needed a mislynch, they would have pushed it sooner rather than holding IMO.

It's not *that* cool. He actually still doesn't look like he's about to be lynched, somehow. IT would certianly raise an eyebrow but I could buy a "scum have suddenly decided to bus" argument just as easily. If anything I'm far more weirded out by the fact that hes still alive. A hypothetical town-TA has been lynchable all game, so why would they not try sooner? Sure, it could be a mislynch. Anything could be a mislynch. But there has been such a huge divergence between Syryana in this game and (I can FINALLY say this!) NY 164. Admittedly he didn't live long enough in that game to potentially fall off a cliff like he has here but I don't think it would have happened.

There is very little. He has been allowed to skate by so far though, so it is working. The only way there's scum logic is if he is just unequivocably horrible at playing scum. Which is possible, I forget what others have said on this.

There isn't town logic either. Possibly less- lurking sometimes works for scum. Town wins the game by A) scumhunting and B) not being mislynched and he's making no attempt at either.

I think enough people are arguing with me about Borden. Empire's gone by the way; it's just Llamarble now, and you know they're an asset if they're town. Yes, their hammers the past couple days suck and their dip in activity sucks too, but that doesn't equate to scum. I've been back and forth through their iso several times over the past week or so, and I still can't justify lynching them. If they're fooling me here then I'll congratulate them post game, but I really don't think they are.

As far as TA, he's not a site troll, but he does sometimes drop out of games and lurk. That also doesn't make him scum.

I don't think the situations are comparable at all though? None of Spyrex or his predecessor's did anything really townie and for some reason we just kind of let peacebringer and displaced do nothing. Then Spyrex brought his reputation while still making scummy posts and people were like "but spyspy". This isn't the same situation. Borden's had a strong game and has done some scummy things, but their play has been town for the most part. Like I just, empire would have had to have been majorly tailoring his game to get me and Tierce to town read him all the while leaving us alive for some reason while at the same time knowing that as the game goes on it would be harder for him to keep up the town act and Tierce and I would nail his ass, and knowing that I have a tendency to get paranoid at this stage of the game? I just don't see it.
