I don't really think that Iec's gamma meta is accurate, as in I'd not associate an obvioous lack of engagement with gamma scum (Specifically he was pretty engaged in Defcon, and uh, that one stupid game he won because of Vezok ages ago.) Or at the very least was trying to look engaged? (I guess it may not be real engagement but that's not really the point)

I only have Gamma-Town meta and a sense that this is different, so you may be right. It's possible that something other than alignment accounts for the discrepancy.

FTR Mollie - I didn't "barge" into a game I don't belong in. Mina lost her first hydra partner, who was a reckoning attendee!, and asked me if I'd hydra with her because she didn't have time/didn't want to do it by herself.

I didn't misapply your scumhunting tool. I even literally said I probably don't mean the same thing you do by that phrase and told you what I was referring to. I didn't lie about that post. I thought it was you because it doesn't make any sense for it to come from Bert. I have fooled Bert as scum before but Bert actually does know how to read me. We've literally talked about my tells in more than one game. Also, in Attack of the Titan I said something very similar to what whoever wrote that post said bothered them and Bert quoted it and said that he really liked that post, so to me it doesn't make any sense whatsoever for it to be coming from Bert. What the fuck is it with pirate mollie and my hydra partners?

I've been admittedly pretty disengaged so far (in part because hydraing with Tammy gives me some leeway to be lazy). Now I'll start taking the reins a bit more, since Tammy is only staying in this slot because she's too nice to replace out.

For that reason, I find someone scumreading me for my early posts plausible...if that someone was incapable of following the plot and missed I was practically confirmed town for the underlying reasons behind, e.g., my questions to Cheery Dog.

I did tell Tammy it was better if she responded herself, but in retrospect, we shouldn't have taken the bait. Because now it's easy to dismiss this as "two emotional people yelling at each other." There's actual weird shit about mollie's play that I'd have liked to engage with her on, but she's acting in a way that discourages anyone from touching her with a ten-foot pole.

I spazzed out cos it seemed deliberately catty. it is a phrase that I use all of the time cos the bulk of how I play is rhythm play. I have even used it to catch scum tammy before altho I wasn't able to get her lynched. it is a sore point with me because I have a really hard time articulating what I am seeing and I struggle in games. tammy knows all of this so I got reactive cos I don't like it when people try to be deliberately mean to me. no1 does! how would you respond if you felt some1 was being mean to you?

I remember after my third game on this site a pm exchange i had with thorella after the game. scum were sledging the fuck out of me and I was losing my mind. it was a good pm exchange, I always learn a lot from thorella. he suggested that I stop and ask myself, "why is this person trying to upset me?" and that is what I try to do but I get really rattled when I feel like some1 is trying to bait me and react negatively. nacho, desperado, bert and mac all know this so they are pretty good about drawing fire away from me, but I still need to learn how to respond and not lash out.

if this is all a big misunderstanding then I will feel pretty retarded but to me it felt like tammy was deliberately trying to bait me and in some ways still is. it messes up my reads but I am trying to look at the game from different angles and see which 1 makes the most sense. tammy's behaviour makes sense coming from scum it makes no sense coming from town and I know as scum she will go for the heavy emotional manipulation and I feel like that is what I am seeing.

I think the difference is that you do it in a way that makes sense. I felt that tammy was trying to bait me by using a phrase that I use when I scumhunt (I have used it with her) but it did not seem genuine? cos that was all that was there and I don't think I am out of step at
