No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

I'm unsure how you're referencing the post where I unvote, and in the very next sentence say that you feel uneasy about the wagon since I'm on it.

Even if you unvoted, you were still on it and that's what's a problem. I also like how you absolutely ignored the other point brought up. Great selection brah.

I somehow missed this post:
AGar wrote:This is weak because it could literally chalk anything up to "Well I guess it was just their playstyle I didn't like!" and that's real bad. Kill this with fire guys. Do it.

Also, accusing tman is bad and you should feel bad.

That or I'm really missing something here.

You're right - it could be that way, but it's not. My last large had people bitching at each other with all out catfights, and most (or all, can't remember exactly offhand) weren't scum. The attitude and issues of that was the cause of more votes than anything, which is why I try to make sure it's not a personality/play style thing I don't like, rather than an actual scum read. If you want to think I'm scum because of that, you're doing the exact thing you're giving me crap about.

As for tman, why do you have such a strong town read on him?

I was at 2 votes when I replaced in. One more would feel hella pressuring, so I think that your vote was fairly important if you wanted me to be run up a bit to see how I would have reacted. This also requires almost no work on your part :P

Well, i mean, it would have been just keeping my vote where it was, so it would have required zero effort. I guess my reason to jump to shaddowez was literally just a whim. At this point I think I prefer that vote. I don't think pressure is the best tool on someone who's replacing in either (though don't quote me on that). A person replacing in is probably going to be giving plenty of readable content anyway.

covers most of my current thoughts on her.

shaddowez wrote:Something about this line in his reads list bothers me - there's nothing specific about it, but I just don't like it.

I actually like the line you quote from tman. It doesn't do anything to make Tammy a more likely lynch, but it also attracts negative attention. So, essentially, it contradicts the scum agenda while being something town could quite easily think, at least in my opinion.

~~

Still happy with shaddowez vote and general progression of the game. Really keen for more posts from ZZZX though.

I was asking you because of 488. I see reasons for why scum wouldn't do that, but she seems fairly experienced to me. Sooo I ask again, anything that jumped out as specifically town?

@BipolarChemist: because Pigeons are funny.

Also,
VOTE: BipolarChemist ,
because you haven't answered anything I asked in (yet you've posted many other things),
because I've read your catching-up post again and somehow it looks as if it contained many pieces of information but it isn't (maybe it's just me, but I'd have been happier with a porbably town/lean town/unsure/lean scum/probably scum list or something like that),
because Oso was FoS in my eyes

This read may change later, of course, and I really want to see more content from Sthar8 and Tman. (Malakitty seems to have answered everything you all asked from her.)

Pretty much, the general statements early on bothered me, but nothing to an extreme level. I'd be more worried on his Day 2 play than his day 1 stuff. Going back though, I remembered his stuff with Elias that bothered me and there was something with DV that bothered me too and now I can't frikken remember what it was. I will get back on this.

As for Implosion: what do you mean by that "Autoscum! WIFOM!" part? Do you think a page1 post is relevant now? And he was voting for Shadowez in ...
As for Tman: maybe you're right here.

Uhmmm it was because flames was scum and I was making a joke... So uhh, no...it was a joke?

And did I say all that much on tman? What are you agreeing with?

BipolarChemist, – uhh, are you just buddying AGar and Tman? Why did you call Sthar8 and ZZZX a--holes?

I uhh...what? I literally said I like their posting (pretty sure that means I think they're town) so I made jokes... I even complimented tman on his snark earlier! Pick up on this man, come on. And I called them asshole because they're assholes <3

BipolarChemist, – uhh-squared! What blatant buddying! Are you trying to build a townblock or what? As if we were sure that you are town.

I uh...dude. Look at my avatar. Look at his avatar. Chancesss are we're pretty good friends outside of this game :P

But I'm not, so there's that.

AGar wrote:

That's useful, thanks. Please elaborate - a lot of people have him read as town, I just don't see it as clearly as other people do.

Mala
- The vote would have just been for pressure, not necessarily because I think you're scum. Thanks for answering though!

Now, onto the meat of my post.

Elias had my attention for a good portion of D1, who got scummier as the day went on. I didn't like his vote placement/movement, and seemed to be doing very little in the way of scumhunting. I held off an opinion of DV until I heard more, which I now have.

In his first real post, Post #486, he uses implosion's list of scum, and narrows it down to three - two of which already have votes on them, and myself, who implosion had made a case about.
Most of his reads in aren't too bad, but in reviewing it I found this:
DeasVail wrote:Shaddowez: Mostly a PoE read.
His play in regards to flames/neil is nothing beyond scum as far as I can see
. The main thing holding me back though, as silly as it may sound, is 21. Notice the similarity in style of RVS to flames, while everyone else is different. I feel scum may make more effort to do something different from a buddy, but I consider this point quite weak after some thought.
I didn't notice anything scummy in particular during my read-through
, but I haven't reviewed the most recent case on him properly and will read his own posts more deeply tomorrow.

So, is my play scummy, or did I not do anything scummy that you noticed?

DV has a lot of wishy-washiness going on with his reads, but is sticking with people that are already being viewed as scum. Examples:
DeasVail wrote:
Aneninen wrote:However, if you posted something about Oso, that would be great.

His posting makes me very uncertain. I struggle to get anything specifically town-motivated or scum-motivated out of it as I read through, so he defaults to a scumread, but not a strong one.

DeasVail wrote:My vote on Shaddowez is not really due to anything extra that Shaddowez has done, but more because I've become unsure of Chaos after looking through his posting again with Shaddowez being the next best bet.

DeasVail wrote:I'll want to wait for ZZZX before I make any judgements about the slot, but all I want to say is that I've become cautious

This quote is also weak:
DeasVail wrote:I also feel that Shaddowez being the only townread of Flames from 152 that I could see being scum implicates him somewhat

Flames had the following people in his townlist - AGar, Elias, myself, Tammy, and Mala. AGar has been a solid townread by everyone, Tammy had already flipped, and he's not going to point to himself as scum, so that leads to him being able to make this case against me or Mala. At this point, I already have votes on me, making me the easy target.

@Tman: :-(-squared! I was about to ask questions.

@BipolarChemist: As for Tman, I meant this:
"There’s something about post #106 that reads town to me. It’s like his thought process came about as he was writing it instead of having a predetermined “I’m going after this person” thing."
– You must remember that Tman used to be my strongest scumread but, since most of the players have a different opinion I had to reconsider my reads. So, I'm pretty unsure about him now and the word
"maybe"
showed it.

Also, you're saying that most of the things I pointed out were jokes. Well, it will sort itself out, I suppose. Let's see whether the others consider them jokes too.
I know that I tend to fluff a lot, however, in this particular game, especially on Day2, I haven't posted the usual amount of "Aneninen-fluff" so far.

_____

I would like to see a readslist from BipolarChemist and Shadowez. Because, it seems that BC has either no real/strong scumreads or I've skimmed over something. In contract, Shadowez seems to have too many scumreads.

I'm not going to go back and find examples of something I've literally been saying since early in Day 1 because you don't see what I see, especially for scum. Re-read him. He made posts early Day 1 that were very clearly of a town mindset and I've been fine running with that since. Here, have a recycled gif in the meantime:

Why the grumbling?

shaddowez wrote:So, is my play scummy, or did I not do anything scummy that you noticed?

I'm pretty sure it's been established that I don't find you incredibly scummy. You are just the least town for me right now.

shaddowez wrote:Flames had the following people in his townlist - AGar, Elias, myself, Tammy, and Mala. Why do I need to go after an easy target? If I were buddies with BPC/Oso, it would've made more sense for me to stick with my chaos/ZZZX vote. If I were buddies with chaos/ZZZX, it would've made more sense for me to focus on Oso. If I'm buddies with you, then what on earth am I doing? The problem with your claim that I'm going for the easy target is that the only reason I'd need to go for an easy target is if my scumbuddy was in danger, and if that was the case, you would not have been the ideal target for me as scum at the time.
