It's another thing to deprive everyone else of meaningful discussion and your thoughts because that's just anti-town, the PTs should not be used to contain all discussion cuz wtf are we doing here then.

Currently 7 pairs, 3 have scum in them most likely, and after intermission it will be 6 pairs, 3 with scum, so strictly speaking the odds of hitting scum go up in absolute terms by lynching after intermission.

In practical terms, considering that they'll simply shoot a town/town pair that would have never been mislynched(such as my own), the odds won't actually change, BUT scums ability to sculpt the end game will be diminished, ESPECIALLY since gamma/Vedith were a major topic of conversation, and they have relatively little idea of who actually wants which pairs lynched after town ML's SS/Maria.

Basically, this forces them to just shoot Nahdia and me, instead of playing for some more complex line. And if they decide to not shoot us, it means Nahdia can actually interact with me in our PT so she can decide if she TRs me or not, shoot that's win/win imo..:p

The main concern I have right now is really whether the value has gone away, since immediately after the vedith/gamma flip scum essentially had no idea how people's reads have changed. Since people have adjusted since, we've denied them less information than we could have.

Does it surprise anyone that these people in particular are behind the no-lynch fad? It doesn't surprise me.

P. Edit: I wrote Cerberus off as town really early and I haven't had any reason to distrust him since. I'm about 90% certain he's town. Why does it matter though? I'm positive the scum will boot them because they're never getting lynched, and the longer they stay the more info we can get out of them.

I shouldn't have to explain why no-lynch is a bad idea, it's just so obviously anti-town that the only explanation why *you* Smith would be pushing it, is that you're scum.

It obviously matters whether Cerb is town because if he's not, then someone else is getting shot, and that is in itself potentially interesting (and the data about "the pair that scum wanted dead instead of Nahdia-Cerb") is probably better to be outed earlier rather than later). Like if you're lock certain that Cerb is town, then yes, that's very likely going to be the NK, and we might as well get a bit more data before they die. But if you're NOT sure that cerb is town, then the NK gets more interesting, and the "well clearly we need to push back the NK" argument fails.

As far as explaining goes, you should always explain things. In this case, the argument against no lynching hinges on the presumption that cerb is town. In which case, it's probably worth examining that assumption to make sure it's correct, as opposed to just writing it off.

Sure. Because there's no reason to yet. *shrug* if I see the suppprt for a NL develop I'll vote there(but I'd also sorta like to actually put out real reads and stuff before then, since I expect to be dead at the stqrt of the next dance and so far I've done nothing). As far as actual lynches go, I only vote when I have a high degree of certainty that we're lynching scum, to gambit, or to prevent a NL in a standard game.
