Having trouble sleeping so I decided to write this down because it annoys me and it's been bouncing around my head.




Let's take a look at what has to be true if I am mafia here.

I replaced into this game. Talked to SC, and decided to vig my mafia teammate.

Instead of say convincing SC to shoot someone else and then shoot SC with the mafia nightkill to hide the crime, I decided to pick my own backup godfather and shoot him in the face.

That doesn't really make sense to me as something I would do.

Now Bell is jumping up and down and saying that not only did I do this, it's something "I've always wanted to do" because Peta did it to me once in a game a while ago.



Does that make sense to anyone?

For one thing that setup where peta did this was an open setup with no cops, no investigatives, no docs, no prs at all IN A MARATHON MICRO GAME.

So you could bus-vig your own teammate for the lulz and win on the towncred cuz you don't have to really worry about clears etc fucking you up and nobody is going to stop and think in a MARATHON MICRO GAME.

this is a large theme game with multiple power roles that can clear players and mafia got elimmed on day 1. It's not even at all comparable in terms of strategy or planning.



For another thing. I am not Peta fucking Pan. We are literally night and day in terms of how we play the game. If you read my scum games and you read Peta's scum games, you might notice we look nothing alike in terms of how we play the fucking game.

This is just a personal preference thing. I don't think the way Peta plays is wrong, I just don't have very much fun playing that way and honestly my scum win rate is pretty good so I don't see why I would need to change my playstyle to something I don't enjoy.



Which brings up my second point.

From your point of view: one of me/Bell have broken our meta. Either I started bussing or Bell started posting as scum. One of those things happened.

Your goal is to figure out which of us broke meta.

Let's talk about why meta gets broken, who between the two of us actually has incentive to change their scum game?

Is it me, the guy who actually has a good scum win rate? Or is it Bell, the guy who has a terrible scum win rate?

Do you think Bell enjoys being the butt of every joke where he gets laughed at for being easy to read and insta-yeeted every time he rolls red? Do you think he's so bad at scum that he's literally incapable of making even the most token and easy changes to his play to not be yeetbait?

Look at what Bell has done this entire game. He's basically not even doing townie shit, his interactions are garbage, the only thing that's kept him alive is that he's actually posted a decent amount[mostly garbage] and he puffs up and angrily proclaims "I'm town you fucking idiot how could you possibly think I'm mafia" every time someone suspects him.

It's toxic but kind of effective because everyone apparently thinks Scum!Bell can't possibly be angry at them or w/e.

Is there actually a good reason to townread him? When I asked him what reason there should even be to townread him. He replied "every post I make is a town post". Which is basically a cop-out answer that you use because you can't actually think of a townie fucking thing you've done the entire game.

The only time he even pretended to "solve" was when he was already locked into a 1v1 with me.

His arguments about why I'm scum are so comically bad - I have flushed better cases down the fucking toilet.

His AtE is full of emotional inconsistency but I guess he's made the needed adjustment to going all out on suck-up mode now that Cakes told him that "flame mode" wasn't working.



I am tired of playing this game. I am tired of responding to hundreds of spam posts per day. I am tired in general. I play this game for fun and this game stopped being fun quite a while ago.

I have done literally everything humanly possible that could be expected to bring this home for the town but if that's not enough I guess it's just not enough cuz I don't have much more spoons to give.

Maybe this will change if Bell/Notty decide to piss me off at some point tomorrow. I hope they don't and this just ends because this is such a pain in the fucking ass to play.

Which is yet another reason why I don't bus my entire team and go "deep wolf", because it's not fun and I play this game for fun not win rate - I don't even give a shit about win rate.

This is my full reply to the "mechcase" in which Notty claims it is suboptimal for them to double-tap TIL because they already used Perish Song on Her.



(1) The missed nightkill did not actually do anything to affect the game state - we ended up on evens and had to no-elim anyway to get back on odds.

(2) Drawing out the roleblocker early with a fake guilty is pretty useful when your team is low on players. A hidden roleblocker versus a solo scum is like equivalent to a cop in power level as every successful kill creates a "cleared" player who did not make the kill. The POE was already tight for you so you need to draw the roleblocker out as your team is in danger of being yeeted.

(3) There is also the added benefit of creating a fake guilty that can be pushed, perhaps saving Imaginality for another day. If the fake guilty had landed on somebody else, I think they probably just die that day and Imaginality escapes death on D3.

(4) If you actually win this game on this fake guilty, then the missed kill will have been well worth it.

These are all fairly important strategic benefits for there to be a missing kill on Night Three. It's actually quite possible you decided just to no kill on that night rather than shoot TIL.

I don't know what you did because I'm not mafia. You are, you have the benefit of knowing what went on. I do not.

You continue to claim it is suboptimal play to shoot TIL on N3, except as I've outlined above - there are significant advantages to a no-kill on that night. So much so that I think maybe you could've just no-killed intentionally.

It's quite clear from when you put out this hitcase on me that you knew Dwlee was a delayed poisoner while I was under the impression he was a delayed nightkiller - meaning you are far more familiar with his role than me. Which makes sense because I'm not on his team and you are. I would know what Dwlee is if I was actually on a team with him.

Also if you actually believed in the validity of your case and think it's a slam dunk, you would not resort to flooding the thread with ate posts to drown out my defense against it. You would simply let the case rest on its own merits. Your very desperation shows that you don't actually believe in your mechcase. You simply repeat it over and over again.

If the gameplan is for Scum!Pooky to vig his teammate for credit and then bus his other teammates, then there is literally no reason for Pooky to be committing the nightkill whatsoever.

At that point in the game I had not yet claimed to be a vig, I was certainly plausible as a block candidate. There is literally no reason for Deepwolf Pooky to make the nightkill. Losing your deepwolf to a tracker/blocker/watcher etc after you invest one dead scum to make him super strong makes basically 0 sense. Esp since Imaginality is not going to go deep since he was barely even playing the game at that point.

Lastly.

If you actually believed this pile of horseshit you call a case, you would've used it on Day 5, Day 6, Day 7, Day 8... You would not be waiting until the very last day of the game to pull it out of your ass and try to kill me with it. This is just cobbled together nonsense you have recycled from 6 game days ago because none of the other shit you were flinging at the wall was doing any good. (2) Drawing out the roleblocker early with a fake guilty is pretty useful when your team is low on players. A hidden roleblocker versus a solo scum is like equivalent to a cop in power level as every successful kill creates a "cleared" player who did not make the kill. The POE was already tight for you so you need to draw the roleblocker out as your team is in danger of being yeeted.

(3) There is also the added benefit of creating a fake guilty that can be pushed, perhaps saving Imaginality for another day. If the fake guilty had landed on somebody else, I think they probably just die that day and Imaginality escapes death on D3.

(4) If you actually win this game on this fake guilty, then the missed kill will have been well worth it.

These are all fairly important strategic benefits for there to be a missing kill on Night Three. It's actually quite possible you decided just to no kill on that night rather than shoot TIL.

I don't think it was that obvious because nobody really even talked about it until like day 10, no-killing as scum in a large theme to find the roleblocker isn't actually a bad play. >_>

and also I could've just brought Mathblade to Elo for the way easier win, he didn't think I was scum until they told him in Dead PT that I was scum so it's not really all SC's fault here.

There were a number of things town could've done to win this game. (Letting Wisdom claim results, protecting Whemestar as he was functionally a cop with 1 scum left, Using STD's power on an investigative role to generate an extra inno, not self hammer in 6P etc)

Focusing on one error is kind of silly when the number of things that had to go wrong for town to lose was really tremendous.
