On the outset, I thought this exercise did not help me at all. All it proved is what I already knew - PV and are are the only two conf Town. VJ and Hez being on all 3 Town wagons looks really bad.

Interestingly, SB was NEVER on a Town lynch. Not once. On the face of it, you would think that makes him Town. But that isn't really true, is it? The only people that KNEW who was Town and who wasn't was? Yeah.... When you look at his voting record, he is *always* voting Town except when the final vote is tallied. The fact that the only person remaining that he never voted for was VJ?? Lock it up. SB and VJ are scum partners.

@Hez and PV - which one do you want to lynch first? Between the two? I personally feel much more confident in SB scum - though an SB scum flip all but guarantees a VJ scum flip.

This is clearly wifom but I'll play because, tbh, I have been asking myself the same question [as evidenced in 1290].

1. If scum team is SB-Hez:

A. I think I was brought to lylo with VJ in the hopes we would go after each other like rabid animals. VJ's tunneling [as pointed out in post 1295] and the fact I have voted VJ at least twice are my primary reasons for thinking this. This is actually the primary reason I have softened my view on VJ-scum.

B. Post 1254 would be the kind of buddy defense I would expect from a SB-Hez scum team. Post 1278 is another post that could be indicative of scum buddy logic at work. SB was on and off Hez pretty quick on Day 2 to ultimately vote no one. This looked like weak distancing to me. On the flip side, Hez has never voted for SB. So he either had an EARLY Town read on SB for reasons yet to be explained or they are scum buddies.

C. My post 1098 was the last time I mentioned SB in a read and I had him listed as "weak Town" in my discussion with Tammy. This probably made scum think I was referring to SB and Pere as my unlisted "other Town" reads in post 1080. Plus, I made SB a 1 in my "likely to lynch" exercise back in post 1021.

2. If scum team is SB-VJ:

A. All of C is still in play.

B. VJ was on all 3 Town lynches while SB was NEVER on a Town lynch. Interesting that they never voted together. Yet, despite this, they call each other weak Town or Town reads without ever saying why. That's a very strong relational tell to me. This is the kind of stuff I would expect from scum partners trying to limit their interactions in terms of reads and voting SPECIFICALLY in an attempt to try to prevent being tied in a relational tell or vc analysis. I'm probably here because I specifically stated that I'm not a strong believer in relational tells in post 1138 and they would be looking to exploit that.

C. I haven't voted for VJ since post 930. Hell, in post 1138 [linked above] I went so far as to practically defend VJ via relational tell to myself. So I think VJ-SB would think they could make me vote Hez.

Again, I find myself with a ton of ammunition for SB scum in two scum scenarios but feel slightly less strongly about his scum buddy [though SB-Hez is gaining traction as I reread].
