Lets say Kiwi IS TOWN and did NOT max level 3 silence like a fool of a Took. Fate says he was silenced at level 3 - kiwi doesn't bother to contradict him - strange considering he's already bothered to come out of the blue and claim bard (which is scummy and reeking of gambit), but he wont follow up. He is generally very resistant and evasive about the whole issue. Why is this?

If Kiwi was town and Fate lied, Kiwi should have said so. He did not. Too late to say so now.

So he didn't bother to correct Fate. This means either Kiwi has serious mental problems and got his WORST skill, maxed it, and used it the WRONG WAY ----OR---- He's scum! The bard role is scummy. The silence skill is MEGAscummy. He early claimed with no pressure - scummy. He silences Fate for no real reason "stop cursewords nerpity derpity". He refuses to give the town

Silence can effectively stop someone from voting for you or your scumbuddies for the rest of the game. So fukn scummy. The only townie way to build bard is 1-2-0 or maybe 1-1-1. Using the second skill in only special situations of course.

Im starting to think its bad town play to encourage rapid thread growth when the game just starts. The downsides suck hard. Not much you can do it about though, really. Maybe dont mega-post yourself, maybe ask/babysit other people to keep the post count low. Shit like this just discourages people and then they end up skimming the thread or not reading it all, then we get replacements which is even worse. Defintely something I'm gonna work on for my next game.

Anyway, tts not really scummy or townie, its something thats really sort of beyond the grasp of any one player. One can try, though. If there are multiple offenders, yes they could be scum spamming the thread just to cause weariness and hesitancy in players who are just joining to read the thread. But the logistics of a scumstrat like that are kind of boggling and impracticle. Not to mention super dickish. And its something I just realized so I dont know much about it if people actually do what I'm talking about for that reason. Just streaming some thoughts about that.

My reasoning?

Flinter has been scumposting all game starting with her first post. Also what she said can be logically interpreted as a valid slip, though I made somewhat the same mistake. She said it was her first pick because she thought it'd be a good all-round role for either scum or town. But the thing is you got your role first so this doesn't make much sense. Its just icing on the cake for me.

From the faux-airs she puts up to the abritrary way she posts after she is muscled into something, she reads as scum to me. Shrug.

1. Bone Tongue has no use for a scummer. Its purely a townie skill. Pretty much.

As far as we know, nobody else was drained (though maybe oversoul was? OS?). By not claiming her abilities like everyone else, she becomes free to claim bone tongue down the line. If it is revealed she does NOT have bone tongue, thats a serious strike against her. She wouldnt want to confirm no bone tongue at this stage in the game. Note she already gave a precursory warning that "Abdiel chose the skills not me!". If I was Nielwarren scum, I'd logically build 0-2-1 or 0-1-2 probably the former as it cannot be confirmed as easily as the latter. Bone tongue's use cannot be confirmed by anyone but the Nielwarren. If you wanted to bus, all you'd have to do is claim a bone tongue build.

In all honesty bone tongue is pretty much the strongest skill in the game. FOR TOWN. NK victim? No prob, just look into it and find out who killed him through the flavor revealed. Whats that? He died through a mysterious musical melody that raped his soul into oblivion? The bard did it. Scum caught. This is why massclaims rape this game.

She's holding off so she doesn't have to be accountable later down the line because she has no excuse for getting multiple ranks of death absorption.

She's playing it down because she knows that if she doesn't come up with some good results tomorrow she's boned.

Just because its not immediately apparent to you what I'm doing, dont accuse me of not scumhunting. Its getting really tiresome. I am comitted to wrangling in the massclaim because I started it, and would like to see it done properly without people trying to weasel out of all its implications.

I find the builds of a few people quite scummy but of course
