The reason why Kondi made this voting block was because the members of this block has collaborated in numerous games (including on-goings) so far and therefore has mutual idea of friendship among us.
In games I've played with them so far, they were intelligent, worthy and likable fellows.
I see that you might be confused we are buddying up so quickly but we just know each other very well and want to use that to our (Town's) advantage.

Kondi, I would think this bloc was dumb even if you had included me in it.

I agree it was rather blatant of him without giving any reasons for constructing such a group from the get-go, but you must understand that this group had been chatting in the Open Game Sign-up thread before the game about how we are all in the same game again etc etc (includes the promise that we will Policy lynch Kassadin).
I also do agree that there was no conversation whatsoever about building up a Voting Block before the game began, but that does not really matter.
I presume the main purpose of this Voting Block was to get rid of Kassadin from the get-go anyways.

And of course, you left me out, which means that you don't have all of the town in there.

It's way too plausible for scum to be a part of it which seems like an easier way for scum to hide by voting with the group. People quick to accuse him of scum because of it seem to be a bit opportunistic. The idea was presented before the game had even officially started, so I think it's a bit obscure for anyone to be pouncing on how scummy it is.

I don't think Kondi made his post out of stupidity. He does not strike me as stupid person so i doubt he made his bloc out of stupidity or randomness. This does not change what i think of the bloc in general, it can be a very good MID to LATE game tool that i think can be implemented either late D1 or sometime during D2. I just didn't see the bloc really working out this early in the game. Trying to impose a bloc so early before posting is kind of sketchy and kind of a weak move. Kondi does not strike as a player who would make such a move.
