Tell me brotha, what does mod/scum interaction look like?In post 41, Egg wrote:Icebox, yeah when I was a scum hydra last, I made a comment just like post 37 after my other head got called out.
Bulb and Klock are probably town. Fuzzy might be scum. These are early gut reads except klick. I'll get more into klick if people care a few pages down the road.
Preview edit: mac, that didn't look like mod/scum interaction.- Mac

Bo, I'm not sure why you have a town read on Mac. His posts read like scum trying to blow random talk into an illusionary case and hoping enough people bought it. This post is especially bad:
He quotes the conversation and phrases his question in a way that it will make the entire exchange look scummy. Yet, he never goes any further with it. And worse yet, he has to ask the town's approval ("These guys look pretty scummy. What do you think?"). He's done nothing scumhunting-wise sense then. I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing it.In post 61, Mac wrote: So... do these guys look like scum partners or what?
Vote Mac
I fell asleep. I'm not in the same timezone as you, evidently, so this post is pretty shit. For starters, how I phrase my question WON'T change how scummy the interactions look. And how the fuck is me asking the town what they think about the discussion bad? That's discussing the exchange and that's the town scumhunting as a unit. The fact you are trying to stifle it and make me out to be bad for it means you are probably scum.

I think I agree other than I'd say town OR mafia. Werewolves are aware they are werewolves, I think mafia are likely to forget that they are actually not the only scum team.In post 197, Egg wrote:Mac, as I said before, a brief moment of forgetfulness as far as the two scum teams is more likely to come from town. Not only is this an opportunistic vote, but it's making non-existent reasons to vote TNE. Asking if it was a scumslip and then not actually clarifying what the scum slip was means there was no scum slip and fuzzy was just looking for a reason to lay a vote down.- Mac

the opportunism stands because as soon as someone says "scum slip!!!" then all attention is focused on said scumslip and player. voting him early means you can blame it directly on whoever pointed it out if they were to flip town.

how does the bolded work then. iirc DBK hopped on every wagon and it's mother, before hammering fuzzy. distancing and then bussing. In post 931, Bulbazak wrote:
Or it means Klick might be town, Mac might be scum, and you might have confirmation bias.Bacde wrote: I never really explained why I think Klick is scum
but Mac independently came up with the exact same reason on his own
Thats unlikely to come from someone who is Klick's buddy, they would have come up with shoddy reasoning at best
Which means the only way for Mac to be scum (assuming Klick is mafia) is if he is a werewolf
But he's probably not a werewolf for a bunch of reasons I've been saying
I'm looking for reasons on the wagon (Are they bussing or not.), reactions to each other, and whether any interaction between them read as genuine or manufactured.Bacde wrote:
what do you look for when trying to read for partner interactions? In post 928, Bulbazak wrote:I actually did ISO Bo and Fuzzy, because I had the same thought. I saw no connection between the 2. Bo flopped back and forth on Fuzzy all game, but it didn't read as partner interaction whatsoever.
His actual confusion concerning Fuzzy's alignment reads as genuine, even when read in a dual ISO, which leads me to believe that Bo had no clue what Fuzzy's actual alignment was. I would have expected Fuzzy's partner to perhaps bus him when it seemed inevitable to gain towncred, but Bo was on the wagon when it didn't make sense for a partner to be.
Bo was on the Fuzzy wagon when it made no sense for a scumpartner to be on it.
However, go back and check Egg's reaction. He states approval for the Fuzzy wagon for most of the game without joining it, and he only joins it after it starts gaining a lot of traction after Bacde enters the game. That read like distancing and bussing to me.- Mac

1) RVS is RVS. it was tongue in cheek. it was not serious and I cannot take this part of the case seriously. Like I said, it would be like you saying you are not town and me jumping around shouting "SCUMSLIP! SCUMSLIP!" it just doesn't work like that. RVS is RVS.In post 982, Bulbazak wrote:
1.)In post 976, Syryana wrote:Why Mac?This feels like scum who is reacting to being caught for the wrong reasons.
2.)
Already explained why this was bad. He's seeking the town's approval on a scum read. A town player would have been more assertive. Mac is implying that there is scumminess in the interactions, but he has to make sure that it is okay for him to proceed, since he doesn't want to put himself out there too much.In post 61, Mac wrote: So... do these guys look like scum partners or what?
3.) His later vote on me is pure OMGUS, and again feels like caught scum.
4.) Bacde says Mac is town because of Mac agreeing with him and figuring out the Klick case first. However, it just as easily could be Mac buddying Bacde and trying to paint Klick as scummy, which I believe is the case.
2) That was a rhetorical question. A way of expressing my views, you know. Not seeking towncred, but in fact pointing out why I feel you & fuzzy looked like scum partners. Funny you should mention this, because you say I was scum-caught in 1) but this also looks like you are 'scum caught.'
3) My vote on you was not OMGUS. You have already mentioned the reasons I find you to be scum with the partner interactions (in which, one of you have turned out to be scum. hmmm) and then you followed it up with "he hasn't pushed it" when I was asleep. Not OMGUS in the slightest.
4) OR or OR or bacde is a super strong townread of mine? and similarly me to him? JUST A THOUGHT.
so bulba is still my top pick for fuzzy's partner. re-reading some shit now.- Mac
