Initially I read Irish's opening posts as town (like this and this) However, I really dislike his attempt to paint the Nacho/Mara interaction (which I'm going to purposely not out my read on) as scum. I also dislike the fact that he seemed to lack any actual focus on the situation but he still reached the conclusion based off of a few pages of back and forth. I do not know how Irish plays, so it's possible I'm mixing up an erratic playstyle with what I consider scumtells usually but right now I'd actually be happy to join in on a wagon on him.

I have a couple of mild towntells I'm going to refrain from outing completely given the early nature of this game but I'll tell you that Sound of Silence is probably town. I feel completely out of the loop to be honest but I guess I prefer this over a snail pace.

Tammy doesn't particularly look town to me, but I kinda have a feeling she is. Her aura seems to portray that town alignment, and the interactions with others look like those of a town player.

Projectmatt remains a player I've got pegged as mislynch bait--that is, scummy, but town.

1. Like what? Give me examples.

2. I'll say again that pretty much most of my actions in games shouldn't be read as scummy considering they're natural to me but they are read as scum anyway. It's a bit frustrating, so if you don't mind - what exactly about me do you find mislynch bait-ish? I'm curious.

I'm not exactly jumping for joy over the way that this game is going but I'm trying to formulate reads from the content we have.

I don't really agree with your reasoning on TheIrishPope being town. I actually really don't like his latter posts in this thread (as well as his demeanor to Nacho seems oddly confrontational but shrug). Like I said, his play is really really erratic and I don't know if it's his town meta but I really have trouble seeing how most of the stuff that he's saying can even come from a town process. It reads weird to me. (Like his desire to paint Nacho VS Mara as Scum VS Scum and then dropping it very very fast in favor of pushing on Speed. Now he's back on Nacho, I guess). I don't exactly scumread Irish, I guess, but I don't really feel good about him at all right now.

I kind of agree on Nacho. The only thing that would make me a little bit reluctant to outright scumread him is due to the fact that we kind of hive minded on our thought process as to why Phoke had towntold early in the game

I read Tammy's introduction/enthusiasm as town. I also like the way that she tore down Mastin's town bloc because, let's be honest, it was pretty dumb. Given the rapid fire pace of the last game I played with her, I'm a little bit let down in regards to a lack of real activity from her but I guess life happens.

I'm not sure how anyone could realistically have a read on Darger at this point. By process of elimination alone, it's fairly easy to conclude that he might be scum here but I'm not really comfortable lynching a dead slot yet - I don't think. I want to see what the replacement is like.

I kind of have Tammy/Mastin marked as town right now and I'm relatively skeptical of mostly everyone. I'll try to get better stuff later but this is where I'm at right now. I don't feel like voting yet, sorry.

When it comes down to it, I really SHOULDN'T be townreading Mastin. His play, thus far, has been relatively uninteresting/lacking substance but I really can't hide from the fact that a lot of the crap that he does reads like a towntell to me in spite of his occasionally poor ideas (LIKE THIS). Plus, he called me a bad player After that, his play steadily improved and the logic that he has been providing has at least made sense from the way I have seen that he thinks - the kind of carefully calculated but altogether terrified gameplay. This read is, primarily based on tone/gut so I admit it isn't the thing that I can defend logically very well. Mastin isn't really in my suspect pool right now.

to be town. Mainly because he is really cool and he enjoys my poetry. However, I've been relatively disappointed with his gameplay so far. He has the same kind of sporadic posting but without the literal-paranoia-of-everyone that I saw him showcase very clearly in a previous game. I feel like his attack on Mastin might be a pretty stupid move for scum-Bert to make at this point in the game. I just feel like his reads lack...conviction, I guess? I'm hoping that my read on him steadily approves as the game goes on. I don't think I would compromise on a Bert lynch today but he isn't exactly the grandest of town players.

In a way though I'm realizing that it comes from a subconscious bias for my desire for him to be town because I know that if he is mafia it's going to be a serious pain to even try to get him lynched. I read a lot of his posts as town in regards to tone and I still like the fact that he hive-minded with me on a towntell from phokdapolees. It seemed, at the very least, like the conjecture of a similar thought process. Honestly though at the same time his content has kind of just passed through me for most of the game. phokdapolees first post was a towntell. The rest has been trash. Right now I'm honestly leaning on voting phokdapolees but I kind of want to try to turn it over to TheIrishPope because I know that if we are both alive in the future I will absolutely not be able to contain myself. I don't know.

I am in complete agreement that the low hanging fruit is being targeted right now. At the same time though, I disagree that a player being an easy target

makes them town.

This is an extremely common misunderstanding and really, my primary reason fo thinking this is that I really have trouble seeing a team in Nacho/Mastin/Tammy/You. I doubt that both are scum. That's far too easy, but I'm really not in belief that both are town at the moment...just because.

With that being said, I actually want TheIrishPope lynched today. Would you do that with me?

The day just started and the difference is that we're in a LYLO as opposed to a free-lynch day which is making me actually extremely concerned. I am testing the waters in order to properly get my reads. I've been the least active, but I certainly haven't been inactive at all. I've been gone for a few days at a time due to circumstances in real life out of my control, unless you think I'm lying about that. Me "lurking" has nothing to do with anything considering it's not even lurking. I've given logic and explained everything I've been thinking and I certainly plan on doing the same today.
