Ongoing game meta, so I can't talk about it right now.
I
can
, however, have my vote on scum for VCA purposes even if I can't yet convince anyone else to lynch. You're next, by the way.

Some people do, but I've tried (albeit without success) to employ Mark McClish's methodology to Mafia. I blame the failure on my implementation, not the science itself.
Talk to me about language tells. I want to hear this.

I'm not seeing the threat there; quite the opposite in fact. "But" is a key word in discerning intent. Any time you see "but," ignore everything before it and pay attention to the part after it. i.e., when someone says to their spouse, "I love you but you drive me crazy sometimes," they're expressing irritation, not affection.
If someone says something like "You are doing (insert long list of scummy behaviour) but (insert one towntell)" and then votes that person, that's a red flag to me. Ki's not voting farside.

I'm reading that like "Well, you could be scum, but if you are you've sure got me fooled," which is pretty non-threatening.

Sure it can. I'm fine with the risk.

Based on the little leprechaun who perches on my shoulder and whispers secrets into my ear.
Mostly just stuff about Ray Liotta's secret second life as a masked crime fighter, but sometimes I get something useful. Sometimes.

I'm not tunnelling per se, I'd also be OK with a Kuragin lynch, because I'm a huge hypocrite who shitposts while scumreading another player for shitposting.

Sorry, I haven't been drinking.
There's an Alice in Chains concert in town Tuesday night though, so that should be remedied in short order.

You weren't this listless in FTL.
Anatole on your wagon makes me think I might be wrong about him.

Yes. My guess is Flubber/Espresso/you, so I'm going for the likeliest to get a lynch on. I want to knock as many of you out as possible before I'm lynched myself.
Pedit: I'm a maritimer, so I talk like a maritimer. Pointless questions like that do not equate to scumhunting.

A particular subspecies of Canadian. Fine. Not the point. It stands out in that sentence, why did you need that lead-in if it's not some kind of sink for nervousness?
I didn't
need
anything. Those are the words that popped into my brain, so those are the words I typed. Hell, sometimes I type in me own accent, what would that tell ye about me alignment? Lard t'und'rin' Jeez, byze, what if I does it in a Newfoundland accent? Scottish? I've done all of the above before in games.- Belisarius

I used "what the deuce" because those are the words that popped into my head. If I were trying to convey irritation, "what the fuck" would be a more condign word choice. If I consciously choose "what the deuce" the impression I'm trying to convey it a top hat and a monocle. Since I'm not trying to come off as an 18th century British nobleman, the most apposite conclusion is that "what the deuce" means precisely...bugger.

Here's a theory: You don't know in what way because there is no way, the intensity exists only in your head and...
...
I just realised as I was typing this that you're fucking with me, deleted the whole post and then typed it back out again because it worked and you deserve to see it.

Although to be fair the reason I realised that you were fucking with me is that I was giving serious thought to trying to use this to fuck with
you

I'm still happy with Flubber, Espresso, or Kuragin, but I'm not changing my vote until the next VC.
