Daykill: Innocent Children

vote:Chick
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Why not? Chick is pretty scummy and maybe scum, she's scummy as town as well so getting her checked is a good idea. Also, leaving Mastina with a 1 shot claim that she'll lord over us the entire game doesn't seem like the best idea.

Not the format that's gonna get used but it is the correct format.

Vaxkiller (4): Nero Cain, Invisibility, jjh927, Nosferatu
Chickadee (3): Ginngie, randomidget, Mastina
Innocent Children (2): Chickadee, Lady Angel
Mastina (1): Maid Cafe
Invisibility (1): Nicorobin

Not Voting: Rylai and Lina, Gamma Emerald, Skygazer, Titus, KuroiXHF, Porkens, Whemestar, Vecna, Wh4t

With 22 alive it's 12 to lynch.

The day will end in (expired on 2018-09-25 18:00:00)
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I don't think that her being whatever she is and sending pms to other (Skygazer says she didn't even get one) makes it like impossible to pm a buddy b/c that's just decent WIFOM. Sure, you could also say that scum wouldn't send their buddy a pm b/c its too much of a link between 2 buddies but eh....

Anyways, there are better lynches than Chick and she's atleast using her role this time.

If you are asking in general terms, then I think both could. Like self-aware town and scum Ateing will both do it.

I absolutely agree. I'm just saying that in such an early phase of the game differentiating between scum that's lurking and town that just hasn't posted yet seems like a futile endeavor.

Because I like where my vote is currently, on you no less. And I'm dramatic in my pushing but I am more concerned with determining her alignment before changing my vote.
Its a bit of a moot point now since you aren't voting me anymore but your vote was doing shit all. I mean, if you scum read me fine. I'm pretty used to being scum read for absolutely ludicrous reasons but the problem is that I'm getting town read by a lot of the game, thus making my d1 lynch very unlikely. I understand reads can change and walking back a town read isn't a hard thing to do regardless of alignment but you weren't trying to convince
ANYONE
that they were wrong or that you should be shepped. Why were you comfortable doing nothing?

Also gonna go with Gamma and agree that "but i wuz doing slayerz gambit!" could easily be a cop out for caught scum.

I thought it wouldn't make sense with mastina as SvS as he keeps calling her claim fake but then he goes on about how chick is obv scum and was the best vig. Usually when someone calls a claim fake they are implying that player is scum - half sitting on the fence about mastina's alignment whilst egging her on to use a pro-scum ability does not prevent vax and mastina from being SvS. It's feasible distancing imo.
this also happened ages ago so I'm not really getting the delayed reaction. Scum panicking that there was a wagon on them and then hops on the biggest wagon?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but weren't you implying that Chick was online but not post when she sent the pms to RC and RC sent them to Sky? What I'm saying is that Chick last was online @ midnight and Sky didn't get any pms until 2 am.

I have a hard time understanding Pork sometimes.

While I did color him green since at the time I felt like LA scum=Vecna town , I want to make it clear that I have no reason to town read his play. If he's faking his PR then he's deffo scum and that's a possibility. If RC gave him a PR then he's

town.

PRs don't seem as common as they used to be when I first started playing but they were almost exclusively given to town wich is kinda unfair gameplay. At some point mods need to give scum a PR to avoid "trust meta". /end mini rant

I do however agree that LA not doing anything and laying down a somewhat sketchy vote on a guy that can't really defend himself was not all that great.

Just a thing I find strange about Chick is that she says she likes mafia b/c she likes to figure out these games but she seems so apathetic all the time. Maybe it's just a playstyle gimmick?

Nero is scummy for pushing this hard on sky
I'm not even pushing her as scum you smelly vertebrate. But if pushing Sky is scummy what about you know players actually voting Sky? Why are you targeting me instead of them?

just to clarify here. I'm already mostly buying what you are selling. Vecna could lurk but he isn't ok, fair. I still reserve the right to judge him based on his content when, if he can talk but sure he's town. However, he's not in the lynch conversation or even a high scumread dor seemingly everyone. Lets do something that has an impact on today. So who do you want to lynch today and why?

I'd lynch Pork just for being annoying and too afraid to engage me but it would be just a policy/compromise.

I'm sure that Vecna is sitting there yelling "I'M IMPORTANT DAMMIT"! but I feel rather strongly that trying to read and interpret what he maybe trying to communicate is both futile and a waste of time that borderlines scum play. Like worrying about Vecna isn't helping to hunt scum like at all. So prob scum in JJ/Gamma/Kuroi.

like I get that lurking as a PR is a decent strat and all but its very very annoying from my POV. I just feel like some of these guys need to replace out or get lynched regardless of alignment.

In post 1677, mastina wrote:As a reminder: if you are approaching this from the mindset of, "we have less than two days until deadline, we need to flashwagon someone to the point of a lynch", you're approaching it wrong.

Unless someone raised a valid counterargument, we're no-lynching today …AFTER I use my ability successfully. Unless of course I hit scum, in which case sure we lynch them, but I would work under the assumption which is statistically the more probable outcome.

For instance, it seems Porkens is the most popular Vecna countetwagon, and Porkens is town, so. If I used my ability there, would be surprised if I was targeting scum.

Still. You can't forget about my power. I'm not using it yet because I still don't want to dictate the (no-)lynch yet, but I SHOULD, and therefore, WILL, be using it before the end of the day phase.
like this is just pretty gross here. Just b/c today is fairly likely to end in a no lynch doesn't mean town shouldn't be trying. Also should be wanting to use your ability ASAP. Could someone point out the town motivation in this post since I don't see any.
In post 1683, Ginngie wrote:explain why pushing a no lynch given the circumstances is scummy
b/c it's dumb. B/c lynching is the main way to remove scum from the game and mo lynching denies town the % chance to remove a scum from the game.
In post 1690, Ginngie wrote:What do you think Lady Angel's motive for no lynching is?

Remember, if you lynch town, that's closer to scum's wincoin of having half the town dead.

So why would Lady Angel, as scum, want to deny the chance to kill a townie and instead prolong the game?
this is scum defending town from town.

Bold is fear mongering. Lynching town always sucks but this is partly a game of attrition and some town will obviously have to go.

mastina is a better lynch than Pork but its getting fairly annoying that you are tunneling her and not hunting outside of her. Pork is probs town tough.

like I'd asked you about your other scum reads (wich I already did and you avoided) but you seem pretty incapable of anything not Mastina related.

IDK, like I know this game is gonna have some funky roles but a gladiator that fails when targeting scum and then we can no lynch when she gladiates town just seems way OP and to good to be true.

Still hate [post[1677[/post] talk to me about it JJ.
