But, a quick rundown of the timeline here, which all takes place in less then an hour. Keep in mind Cyrus is voting me at this point.

Plan was probably too strong, or not the right word. He just seems more focused and calculated then before.

Besides my scum read on Cyrus, I am not a big fan of the major scum reads.

Menalque is playing way different than the one game i played with him where he was scum(granted he was in a hydra, but he basically played the game by himself). And tbh, he seemed pretty easy to scum read.

LUV, he makes a good point. Why do that and just leave when eventually someone would point it out. Either he is terrible at being scum, or he is a convenient wagon. Though I would appreciate him actually answering my question is asked in rvs haha.

When I originally thought that this game started as a 12 player game, I thought that it was possible that there were three scum.

But then it was pointed out that the death of Elements wasn't just a flavor kill: Elements, flipped scum, signed up for this game as a player. Given that, there won't be three scum alive, since that'd have made the game be 4:1:8. 3:1:8, I can see as a setup; 4:1:8 I cannot.

So, technically speaking, no, I don't KNOW that there's only two groupscum, but it seems like the stupidly obvious conclusion to reach given what we know.

Anyway, if you really throw some effort behind it, you can probably sell me on the Uzi wagon (being confirmed town is always a great start), but this lukewarm "it seems good, I guess" is honestly about where I'm at with it. It seems good, I guess. I mean Uzi legitimately hasn't done much, he legitimately hasn't made brilliant response (that was going to be responses, but then I realized how little he was posting) so it's not a bad spot for a vote. I just don't know if it's a good one. It's not like he's unusually avoiding this thread, his activity level is just low sitewide so if we're saying Jackal isn't scum because they flaked sitewide, Uzi isn't scum because of low activity level sitewide. On the other hand, I could wish that activity was better.

So, here's something that I've been trying to figure if it was AI: Both cyrus & Menalque have explicitly been speaking of "remembering their names" whereas others (Baezu) do NOT remember theirs. Since my role PM doesn't even address the issue I am assuming it's a way to signal being the Traitors to each other (and possibly to their third Traitor if there is one). I don't think whoever rolled president Walter would be as naive as to explicitly announce themselves like that (again, if we assume it's a role in the game).

And since I've failed to resolve the issue on my own, and since they're cross-voting each other I am asking for assistance on the matter.

If you truthfully believe that Mastina was selected at random, you can't believe her third party claim. A lynchproof aligns EXACTLY with a third party who doesn't know their win condition. Town or scum, either team can play to their win condition minus exact knowledge of their role. Whether I turn out to be VT or cop, or doctor or whatever wackiness, I can still lynch scum without that. Scum can still try and move the lynch on to town or position themselves to look townie without knowing if they're goon or rolecop or what. But a third party can't play to their win condition if they don't know their win condition. It's silly to even say. A lyncher, a jester, a serial killer, they all play differently. Therefore, there's no way a third party Mastina could even know how to win prior to "recovering her memory" (aka getting pmed an actual win condition).

This'll be my last post tonight.

So the reasons I found to doubt Cyrus' guilt is 1) rereading he did go with 'joke' as soon as it was brought up, and b) he self-voted in his first game as town. Additionally, it is not necessarily the case scum know their names: not knowing their abilities but knowing their partners would allow for them to be in the same position as town, only, y'know, scum. That seems the simplest explanation of the flavor. (Though it still strikes me as weird that Cyrus decided to use the exact same phrasing three times - that does not feel natural as a joke).

Yet, two things really bug me. One is this "Real joke" which Cyrus keeps alluding to, the idea the mod is "laughing at us." That he can't tell us. I've seen this before, either from superderp town power roles who think it's great to act super scummy then at the last minute reveal their role thinking it 'proves' whoever is attacking them is scum, or from scum trying to imply vague bad consequences of lynching. Fucking out with it already.

The second is the Cyrus/Roster/Doc interaction. This has felt off all game. I noted before that in Newb 1945 that scum Cyrus decided to bus from the get-go. How does he react here? He starts by throwing an insinuation at roster with no vote:
