it's mostly a gut read at this point but i just have trouble getting over that. why give someone no time to answer before throwing shade on them? I hadn't posted yet so there's no way for them to know i wasn't going to come back to it.

my problem with the slot is they come into the game with what's basically an OMGUS against VFP for calling them out. it makes me uncomfy.

Before I leave again, I saw these and had strong thoughts. You're simply naive if you ever think that's an effective way to read people, tell me why not posting after a prod is more likely to come from scum than from town. Prods are not always effective, and that means nothing of alignment by itself, especially early-game.

And to add further context as to why it's even worse reading into that for us is that Mini never likes day one in games and I am constantly busy working on my websites that I forget about the games until I make a significant effort into catching up.

I use my gut a lot, especially d1. having trouble reading people so far but i'm willing to trust it until something better comes along.

my expectation at the start of the game was mostly that I'd be able to post reads in hydra chat and say things that are important while my partner interacts. I like playing that way a lot more cause interacting in thread is tedious and I usually find people are capable of making up excuses as scum anyways so its not extremely productive. But my partner has been mostly inactive in thread and chat

First of all, regardless of the fact it wasn't, OMGUS isn't a only-scum trait. The reason I voted them was because they were weakly scum-reading someone who hasn't posted yet and I cannot stand that, it's as if they were too scared to push someone actually posting so they picked on someone that wasn't.

i thought VFP's townbloc was a tool, not an end-all reads list. or at least, i treated it that way, so i didn't find it suspicious or off. this belief is punctuated by them posting their actual readslist 575, which i liked.

towards the end of day 1 they were pretty focused on being hammer at E-1, which is a weird (but admittedly possible) take for scum.

they keep suspecting me D2 which is obviously anti-town but i do like posts like 1525 and some of the questions they've been asking. D2 seems like an anomaly in terms of being a weird cross-section of waiting for replacements and having them fill in, but 1718 and 1882 looks like they're trying.

role pm from the wiki makes me think it's target two players not one. since you can't direct kills, only actions, even if they did target flow, if scum why kill him and if town why target him. i'm guessing the recipient just hasn't spoken up yet

the watcher claim by scum!ND seems dangerous because if there's a(nother) watcher they'd be on flow, they'd be able to say they didn't see ND on flow thus proving ND a liar pretty quick. that makes me think scum or town, ND is a watcher and probably watched flow last night.

if scum have a redirector and used it on flow to gain his message, then it's ND as a watcher so the other scum would be a redirector. i'm having trouble seeing them not just redirecting to scum and letting flow take heat for the message.

they'd have to know not_mafia was a desparado though to redirect his target from Andante to some one else. that seems rather unlikely, and it seems unlikely that N_M killed desparado'd someone else on purpose, so i think Andante is pretty safe for me.

I think A50 is town here, granted I lack the meta knowledge others have. His frustration isn't really ATE-y, instead straightforward reasons why he doesn't care much. Although I disagree with the mindset, to me it is moreso what town thinks than what scum thinks.

wanted to read this before I went though and I agree with pretty much everything. The flea read seems mostly meta which I don't have but I'd personally put them higher. I'd put NM lower but shrug. ND in lean. Agree with the flip flopping on Flow, I'll probably need to ISO them to give legitimate thoughts. I have no clue atm what to think of Mini, I saw a bunch of AtE and was like fuck this and didn't read most of it lmao, other than it they've not given much. I'd give a response like that >rand scum though. I also disagree that someone pushing you is towny. Maybe it's just my principle but I don't like giving people town cred for making bad pushes, that just opens the door to letting mafia control the game more easily by pushing townies and getting town read for it. I've like Yessirees tone and haven't minded contributions, but I can't recall any specific reads they had which were particularly good
