however, I did re-read the interaction that spurred these (and previous similar) comments from Eliot, and I think Eliot is pushing something rather NAI. The way Lovebird asked it was fine.In post 134, Eliot Ness wrote:This is the question that pinged us.
If you’re town here, you should be asking why it is scummy, not why it is stupid.

I doubt Lovebird and Eliot are bussing here, so if one flips scum, to me the other is cleared. And out of the two, this is where I feel most comfortable applying pressure/ voting for the moment.
I also don't understand why Eliot is aquiring a wagon while Lovebird has received minimum pressure.- mcqueen

And to clarify - I feel like Lovebird's decisions and reads so far have been with as little reasoning as possible. The vote on Eliot seemed to come out of left-field (at least FMPOV), and when asked she said, "I felt like it."
I'm gonna fencesit a little bit and say that I'm not putting full trust in Eliot here, but I feel like his actions have better purpose behind them, enough to sway my vote to Lovebird.- Sashaddin

When Lovebird says Eyes is Towny, Akarin jumps on the occasion to vote naked on him. That early in the game, it made me think of an early distancing move from her.In post 147, mcqueen wrote:

A bit more Elliot because of his defensiveness and OMGUSing towards being voted. Lovebird plays more smooth towny it seems. But it's the interaction between the two that makes me think like this. I don't seen one could be bussing the other, especially since the mafia thread is off during the day according to the rules. It would be quite something to coordinate. In post 156, rb wrote:more to the point, which one are you scumreading, and why?- rb

Oh, I think it's scummy then. If you cared more about reasons why they're town rather than pushing for early townreads, it'd be towny.- Lovebird

It's just one vote, idk why it bothers you so much.
Deserving of a vote? Idk. I felt like you were a good vote though.A question you want clarified was more deserving of a vote than any of the other stuff you pointed out?
Also I don’t like how you tried to just undercut your own intellegence to downplay our argumentDoesn't have to be for stuff you've already said.
And, I'm not undercutting my own intelligence. Read what I said again
Just a change of pace to see someone say that.- Sashaddin

Then I'm wrong! This Day 1, no one flipped yet so the "knowledge" is limited to assumptions. I'd have a hard time translating my thought right now, it's late. I will wait for tomorrow. In post 160, rb wrote:what if they're both town?- rb

shouldn't you be more concerned about actually voting someone you think will flip scum, rather than putting a false sense of important on lovebird/elliot interactions?- FallenDown

If Lovebird is evil, claiming to be omgus'd would be a bad defense and she will probably get suspected. In post 131, Eliot Ness wrote:I especially don't like the vote because I happen to be the only slot pressuring you right now. Well, you can't go around assuming everyone is evil, can you? Only three people out of thirteen are evil. And plus, it is only an assumption which is more likely to be correct if he was town.In post 134, Eliot Ness wrote:1. It assumes the person is town, which is concerning- rb

I think Elliot leans scum but I won't say my observation because I want to figure out if what I am observing holds true until Day 2.In post 165, rb wrote:okay, but do you actually scumread either of them, or is it that you think they aren't the same alignment and are thereby compelled to try and scumread one?
the former i get, the latter seems...arbitrary and contrived, and possibly a little lazy/opportunistic
Unless you really want to hear it now.
