I'll let him do it.

Quick thing: Seuss was Glork. I was saving that tidbit of info for after his death, as I didn't want him to be an NK magnet. His email address was visible in that account for a while.

I'm having trouble seeing Hogan as scum here. Why would he, when he has a confirmable role, kill instead of sending fruit? It's better to buy himself one more Day or two instead of keeping up the NK count, and from the NK choices, we know that scum were
probably
not looking for crosskills, so it's not like Hogan-scum was trying to eliminate the other team to keep down odds of him getting killed. Nor were the scum looking for any kind of vig--the kills were made on claimed and confirmed not-vig PRs. Neither of them were out to get Hogan's blood at that point in time (though there was that Seuss-Glork/Phelps interaction earlier on, Glork didn't seem particularly interested in Hogan). Confucius was a roleblocker, yes, but again didn't seem too interested in Hogan, iirc.

So we have a situation in which neither of the kills last Night would have benefited Hogan-scum over sending a piece of fruit to someone.

Something else: Confucius = petroleumjelly. We have these, from the annals of MafiaScum history, brought to you by the power of search strings and (accidental) public alts:
GLaDOS wrote:... Processing ...

If you bothered to do any research whatsoever, you would find that this account has played in one other game (Mini #565, Lethal Weapon), and in that game I accidentally posted under my main account twice, which is petroleumjelly. Furthermore, if you go on mafiawiki and type "GLaDOS" in the search function you will get exactly two results. The second will bring you to my page (petroleumjelly) which clearly states that I was playing as GLaDOS in that game.

If my action on a given night involves approaching fire, I will not do it. That is all I have been able to glean.

I have to say I do not like the feel of this counterwagon. It feels like I am watching the last-minute Heilograph lynch a second time.

I will only vote Raivann if I feel it will prevent a No Lynch.

Fine. EL James.

If you are correct, Hogan is purple and the last of them--and that means that if the teams are symmetric, we have a truckload of lynches to find the last orange. Nice.

Classic scum reaction to a power role counterclaiming or having a guilty: declare
shenanigans
instead of trying to fight it in a 1v1, because it's obvious that once your opponent flips town, you'll be next to die. And you can't afford that, because you're the last scum, eh?

Hammer away.

Diary Entry 21Last night was the worst culling we've had to make yet. Mr. Hogan had to die, according to popular opinion. Though he was in one of the evil groups, I could feel my sanity slipping away a little more with each dull snap of his bones and thud of the hammers. His body was quite misshapen when we were done with it, although the reaction from the servants would have told me that it looked as normal as anything else in the room. How I hate them.

Diary Entry 22Though I do not believe in the grandeur of the Christian god, since he had been at our gathering I felt that I should at least be polite. Despite the obvious problems with his autobiography, not the least of which was the inconsistent plot that was more full of holes than a sieve, we helped him as best we could and tried to keep a poker face when he asked us for our opinions of his beard. The man's utter lack of pulchritude aside, he seemed like a nice enough gentleman, albeit prone to hysterical storms of childish jealous and outrage. We were all puzzled as to his death. Was he not, as told in his story, a being of awesome power and fearsome splendor? Evidently not. His throat had been laid open cleanly, as if with some sort of surgical tools, and his blood had been drained in what one can only assume was a ritualistic fashion.
This loathesome act aside, we were all puzzled to note that Ms EL James was found dead in her room, although there were no signs of foul play. It was as if due to the violence surrounding us, her body had given up in a sympathetic expression of death. I hope my sanity will hold out to see what had happened to her.

God,
1-shot neighborizer
, killed Night 6
EL James,
Nurse
, died Night 6

Deadline is 2/3 at 9PM EST. With 9 alive it's 5 to lynch.

I do believe this is simple now, God's poison worked on EL James, and God was killed. There is likely only one scum left.

I believe there is town in Edgar Allen Poe and Danielewski. I think Pynchon is town. Rucks... I believe I know who he is, and the fact that he hasn't posted seems very odd to me. I need to refresh myself on the Wilde claims.

Need to look harder at: Shaft, Spinning Paper, TS Eliot. I believe the last scum is likely in that grouping. Paper should claim fully now.

Awesome. I'd like to end this game with a few posts in
H
oL sty le, so let's see how long I can keep this . p u

I know
(they know)
who both EL James and God were (main accounts). Doesn't seem relevant.

We actually know scum can't kill and perform an
action now, otherwise Hogan-Phelps would have
sent off a fruit (and the orange Roleblocker is
). This means that anyone who has been confirmed
as performing an action on N5 (and last Night)
can be excluded from the scum pool.
dead

DGB doesn't bus, which makes TS Eliot90 unlikely scum.
Oscar Wilde cannot be scum because he had a confirmed action N5#.
Shaft91 isn't scum; see his reaction in .
Edgar Allan Poe isn't scum either, from Austen's reaction in .
Spinning Paper92 had a proven action on N5), so he's not scum.

I'm obvTown and will beat anyone who argues this with overdone
BBcode
.

Who is left and can be fed to the
XXXXXXXX
in due course:
  • Thomas Pynchon
    Charlie Kaufman
    Rucks

The first two read Town. This leaves
Rucks
, so if you have actions that can be confirmed on N5 or N6, the time to claim them is now.

Do you remember that day, dear child? The leaves were turning red and falling oh so slowly, like your letters. I know you are busy, but please do not forsake your poor old mother who loves you so much.

Shaft may be scum, Mark, don't be hasty.

I think my actions already confirm me as town.

I know that Rucks is probably hitogoroshi...he is obsessive about Bastion, he seems like a natural fit. His inactivity is hard to read.

Pynchon: confirm you are VT. I doubt there is a Mafia Goon since all three scum on the other team flipped power roles. If he confirms he is VT, I'm going to buy his VT-ness.

VOTE: Rucks

Go for it. There's a simple process of elimination.

I also take issue with "DGB doesn't bus", I don't think that's actually true. My lynchable list at the moment is:

Kid hadn't been around, this is true.

All sorts of things came up, and the nights seem to show up right when he finally got some time.

Still, there's also a reason Kid felt safe not making himself obviously town. Not that this is an excuse; Kid wasn't a fan of people who used this reason, personally. But there was an escape hatch that nonetheless did influence the Kid's thinking. And it had been a part of the Kid's plans to lay low and not get shot. (Not this low, but all of life's in the living of it.) Kid's at L-2, ain't no time to be bashful.

Kid's a Seeking Mason. Found his partner Night One. Can't blame you for the suspicion, given the circumstances, but it's time to relocate.

The Kid's partner can confirm - not that it's the hardest puzzle in the universe.

Of course, there's still the problem that the Kid don't have no damn idea who the scum is. You folks seem to be doing fine enough without his input - Kid's last big scum read was the last mislynch, after all - but he'll give it one more go.

Kid took a whole stack of records. Figured he'd try to listen to them like it was the first time.
The Kid's the one hunting the scumbags. I'm just spreading the word.
