It's something I did as newer scum and it used to be an indicator of scum before setups got to be so complex. Players would exclusively talk about mechanics as a way to avoid scumhunting. Cheeky is a smidge after that time but mastina and I aren't.

The PoE is irrelevant. She's gone to some lengths to gather meta on people and generate reads.

House I think has stated his town/scum preference before, but I sadly can't remember it and he has no real wiki so I have to keep him in the pool for now until I track it down.

Ditto for Flea; fae might've stated faer preference but I can't remember it.

This is my staging point against this. Mastinas seen me at my best and worst of both alignments, and has no difficulty in reading me. If I can't pocket her, I nk her.

Damn. I have more individual scumreads than there are scum and with 11p it's very possible a scumread, especially universal, contains a misread.

Perhaps I should start ISO grouping but that is an energy drainer.

I'll probably towncase since this post isn't meant to be sufficient defense

But they are one of the most hit/miss players in reading me but has recently been far more on the hit side.

They have ample ability to target me and yet they don't and there has yet to be a game where they successfully pocket me.

I think

mastina's

solving both in a mech and read context and I think how consistently large their town pool is in the PoE suggests a lack of scum motive.

Her goal as scum is to mislead and eliminate. She makes it actively more difficult herself by creating PoE of 5 at the very beginning of D1.

Furthermore, she doesn't stray from the PoE even if it is proven wrong because that is how her conviction manifests as town. It doesn't have to be AtE or high-volume reeling at the town. If you want to sort her better faith, don't try to look for the emotional output... look at the strength at which she holds a conclusion she thoughtfully made.

and that is a gamethrowing belief for town because there is never more than 1 scum between the 3 of us this game and I'm inclined to believe we are all town.

This doesn't even consider how she tried to out what we all, as the town, would encounter from scum by trying to have others voice scum preferences. I believe it was a strategic error for

to resist that.
