Hiraki: Opportunistic vote on DH w/ weak reasons, not to mention the claim that a lynch on DH on page 3 would provide valuable information ; Admitting that "I could say more but..." was just laziness (I think it was an attempt to say "Hey, I have inside info, but I can't share it", but he realized then he'd have to back that shit up); Vote on #130 makes no sense. There were better reasons in that post to vote others, but he chose tvella. Why? Then you have the "I need to re-read the two main suspects because I think I'm missing something." This screams "I want to wagon, but I don't have a good reason, so let me think of one."

The majority of his WoT is on diddin, yet he doesn't vote for him. I don't know about anyone else, but it just screams "distancing from scumbuddy" to me.

Also, Benmage is not obvtown. ATM I'm fairly neutral on Benmage.

While I haven't looked at tvellalot much, I don't like that attention is suddenly shifting from Hiraki. Call me paranoid, but my gut says it's the scumteam trying to save their buddy. I'll take a look at tvellalot later though, in case the case has merit, because LlamaFluff is pro-town in my eyes ATM.

1. He fails to actually detail his scumreads beyond 1-2 sentence comments on a post, then declaring a scumread.
2. Despite pushing DBE to claim, he has not made any actual opinion on the claim itself

In her 13 posts, she goes after the strongest wagons, Hiraki and DBE, with little effort, and beyond that everything else is a defense against everyone else. About a quarter of her posts are the "I promise I'll do more later" kind, (3, 11, 12), another quarter are defense against someone else (6, 8, 9), another quarter barely qualify as scumhunting and I almost lumped two of them under 'fluff' (2, 4, 5), and the rest is fluff/RVS.

NC gets a solid "meh" from me. While his posts are rather fluffly and he hasn't really done much in the way of actual hunting, he less lurky than other games I've played with him. My meta on him is "if he's lurking = he's up to something" (Mariyta can testify)

An attempt to discredit me. Normally I don't find "oh he's defending himself he must be scum" a scumtell, but there are certain cases. I've gone off the Kage lynch a bit. All the other wagons but Mist's seem to be 'This player has said a few dumb/confrontational/emotive things' and that's the sort of thing that nearly always leads to D1 mislynches. Mist's last post seems to be a lot of IIOA and stating the obvious, and couple that with the scummy alt-guessing business, she's both VIish and actually scummy.

Massive oversimplification alert.

Assume all the major wagonees and Mist are town. The scum have nothing to gain from moving onto Mist, when they've got a perfectly juicy mislynch of a player who's actually more valuable to the town, moving might look scummy, and the Mystlynch will still be available on later days.

Imagine one or two of Darla/Hiraki/Kage is scum. Scum have more chance of succeeding with the already existing counterwagons which have presumably some town support than trying to start a new one on a VI replacement who at least some town are going to defend with vifom.

The only way you'd really EXPECT scum to attack the VI replacing in here is if pretty much all the leading candidates are scum.

Honestly, I really don't like this vote. Probably even less than SensFan. AFA I can tell he's saying "scum have no reason to mislynch a VI unless the other leading wagons are scum, so I'll vote for the VI." It boggles my mind. I'm so glad that the town eventually saw the light about the scum. Those who read the dead QT notice that I was getting so mad that Jason was getting a free pass for so long. If I have one complaint, it's that the town was waaaaay to gullible, especially when it came to Jason's fakeclaim. Pretty much the entire case against me was the fact that I went after Jason, and I got lynched because apparently thinking the claimed doctor is evil is an irredeemable sin.

The town's win relied on several key players, all but one of them town-aligned. SensFan was probably MVP (my gut knew you were lying about your shots, but TBH if I was scum I would have passed you over too), but Benmage really cemented the town victory by nailing ribwich/bobsnox and Steven Hacking. While I'd like to call myself a "key player" for calling the majority of the scumteam (vice Benmage) before I was lynched, once I died the town pretty much ignored everything I said, so the point is kind of moot.
