Playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e with my Fey Fey Touched Fey Wanderer Wanderer Ranger called The Wanderer who for a gimmick character is stupidly powerful and the parties undisputed DPS. Fae have at least a +12 to faer longbow attacks, and their damage in their first shot is 1d8+5+1d6+1d6+1d4.

Playing Pokémon Tabletop United with my Sage/Hex Maniac Aki, who cannot beat the gym challenge due to her 2 strongest pokémon being 1 shot in the first gym - but who has happily threatened to Will-o-wisp the Secret Police's faces.

Playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e with my Copper Dragonborn Druid called Copper, raised by fey folk and who can't properly wildshape because they keep the copper colouring - but can transform into a walking acid breathing localised star field.

Weapons Training as my Defender of the Faith of the God of Merciful Death, co-ordinating an attack on a sieged fortress filled with undead and having to plan out a double shrine consecration taking 1 hour each OF REAL TIME while locked in combat.

As a trainer, I can use Leer, Curse (As ghost type), Spite, Will-o-wisp, Hypnosis, Safeguard and Light screen.
I have more moves than most of my actual Pokémon. My team rn is Gastly, Growlithe, Nincada, Honedge, Eevee.

The growlithe is from a pack fo pups, everyone in the party has one and there's a shiny one that keeps its distance but follows me. It's a right grumpy lil.... anyway.

nothing special i guess? i've noticed you focus on mechanics of this game way too much for my liking, you generally feel absent / not really pushing the game forward, and some of your reasonings for reads feel... off. like:

- suspicious of me because i'm survivalistic (though this is the smallest offense on the list, as i have heard that before and i feel too lazy to dig through your meta to see if it's consistent).
- boiling down the robert case as "robert was caught in a lie of not knowing mains/alts" (687), when that was really not the case (and i actually had a tinfoil that you/robert are scum together, because later on he repeated the same "i'm being scumread for not knowing alts", which made me think maybe that's what you told him in the scum pt, but uh, extreme tinfoil, not seriously considering this right now).
- egging on nakata and saying that you think he could be scum because he said you might vote to hammer him (923). maybe there's something i'm missing here, but i don't see how that's supposed to be scummy, let alone a "perfect example" of why nakata is being scumread.

I initially agreed with a wagon on it, but Chara became slightly more towny over time.

Not to the point of townlean, of course, but to the point of getting out of any scumlean and, at the very least, going into null-town or some variation of that kind.

But there wasn't exactly a reassessment by the players who are in the wagon, probably due to lack of time, disinterest or a different conclusion about Chara's posting (which probably involves past experience/expectation/knowledge of it's scumgame and etc.)

This stretch of posts by Robert reflects as particularly good to me. Something about attacking his defenders and in his mind sealing his fate comes off as towny to me and is a thought i have pretty often as town in that scenario actually.

However, i will grant you that Robert's scumhunting usually seems to be accusing or disagreeing with whoever the biggest wagon at the time is (828, 860, 1188 for example), or being like "Scum are killing meee" (1190, 724) which doesnt come across as very deep thinking

Tanner used himself in a test so he could have a conftown in his eyes to test against and see if Yin could be followed, he didn't catch himself out. your suslist isn't even from Yin, it's from other players asking questions that Yin's happened to answer, while he's ignored other groupings.

i think if anything the pattern of what Yin's answered and what he's ignored is more significant.

I have put in other efforts around the mech work. the questions Yin hasn't answered has been around 1 or 2 players.

i find it very unlikely that you think "all roads lead to tanner", when (1) chara is considered a criminal by yin too, (2) you had a tinfoil on chara specifically, (3) you had a townread on me during day one, which you didn't have on chara, (4) have you read any of the second half of day 1, seriously. no shade to chara, but if the two of us were the only people that could be voted today, i don't think anyone (other than you/robert apparently) would agree i'm a better flip there.

What I found interesting about Flea’s posting yesterday, was that fae vanity voted Tanner for the longest time and only after Infinity wagon gained momentum, did fae suddenly switch to Nakata. There was a real window of opportunity where Nakata could have actually been the lim BEFORE Infinity wagon gained unstoppable momentum but at the point fae switched to Nakata, that wagon was clearly not happening.

i've seen scum Flea recently who pretty much turned around my scumread on faer via what looked like legit hunting. if Flea didn't do that in Royalty i think it's evidence faer scumgame doesn't always look the same. like a lot of players.

I'm convinced Robert wants out of this game, i dont think the "not having fun" stuff is an act, it's too real.

And if he does not enjoy this game and knows he typically gets elimed early, im pretty sure he'd have tried to get eliminated D1 rather than fight against it with the soft and all the other stuff D1. I feel like he would have just accepted going out of the game. Have his partners bus too.

And i agree that if Robert's scum it's a very odd thing for him to try and live longer but also remove the one thing that was giving him hope of staying in the game.

When super smash brothers brawl came out, I was thrilled and excited to try out all the characters. In the previous game, I had been best with Yoshi and Dr. Mario. But in the new game, I was enamored with Zelda, a character I had found fun in the previous game but never had success with. In the new game, her moves had more damage and range. More importantly, she had a visual rework, and looked stunning.

I gave due diligence trying each character in the game, but settled on playing Zelda. She had a powerful fireball, a magic palm spell, and big kicks. I was able to beat my friends who had not played much every time and beat my friends who played plenty about half the time.

Zelda was special in the game in that she could transform into a different character in the middle of the match. Her other form was Sheik, a ninja, an element of the plot of Ocarina of Time in which she had a more masculine presentation as a ninja (or something like it) that disguised her and kept her safe from Ganondorf.

I liked the idea of being able to swap to a different character in the middle of the game. I definitely wanted to play Zelda most of the time. She had the magic, and a defensive strategy that I felt suited me. I learned to use the Sheik form well enough to beat specific characters that lined up more poorly against a nimble character, or used the Sheik form at the beginning of matches. Sheik's moveset had properties that made them deal the most damage earlier in the match.

Over time, I couldn't help but notice that the list of characters Sheik "lined up better against" was growing as I mastered both the Zelda and Sheik form. I couldn't help but notice that the time when it was "late enough in the match to swap to Zelda form" was pushed later and later, as the number of characters Sheik could finish off with tiny hits more reliably than Zelda's slow magical thwacks (prone to dodging) grew to include more and more of the cast.

I was increasingly dismayed by this. Sheik was only an accessory to a character whose aesthetic appealed to me. I spent eons deciding which of Zelda's dresses I most preferred and couldn't even remember what Sheik wore. Friends were forced to point out to me that I was just throwing games into losses by turning back into Zelda, consistently dealing less damage once I did so. At an incredibly rudimentary mastery of each character, Zelda could perform as well, but once I became adept at each character it became clear that Sheik's edge was a Swiss army knife, not a special purpose blade.

The point of the game is to win, presumably. As the foolishness of donning Zelda's dress became more and more evident, I played the form less and less. I reached a point where the only character I could list as a reason to play her was the Ice Climbers.

Someone discovered a new dashing strike ability for Sheik at around this point, months in. It required very specific timing. I spent about an hour trying to learn it, and couldn't. I decided since I couldn't use one of the characters special ability, I'd rather play a different character. But there was also an element of sour grapes, it felt like an offramp from playing a character who had seemed exciting and had gradually shifted into a begrudging necessity.

Years later, I played a different game, and learned of a similarly hard ability, and spent -6- hours practicing hers until I got it. It was a matter of will. There was a difference in my patience for something I truly wanted to enjoy.

I will always miss Zelda.

tbh i don't think any odd play has anything to do with Silent Star weirdness. it seems like it's Yin, Yang, the bomb, and whatever caused the lack of a night/kill. Flea playing in a nonstandard way is nothing new and while i don't townread faer at all the frustrating fixation on mech to the expense of everything else does seem plausible, and less helpful to scum Flea than just trying to hunt would be. like i said fae is capable of it.
